If you want to know a secret about ed and sf6 in general, I’m going to tell you…I’ve notice ever since switching to modern controls when I was about iron 3-4, just about every single one of my rank up opportunities on the way to gold has been against ed. My last 4 in a row have been against ed 100%, this isn’t a coincidence, it’s the sf6 algorithm trying to get me a modern player familiar and interested in ed so that I will do some research on ed. Ending up in finding out that ed is like the probably best modern character, that way I spend money on a dlc character. Ed is op as a modern character by design, and he is pushed onto modern players by the algorithm so they spend money. This sf6 ranked algorithm is way more complicated then people think, and to some degree it is profit orientated. This is a business after all, I wonder what other complications are baked into the ranked algorithm.
