Having to rely on a retard to support you is whatever, but having someone else in the lane that actively fucks with the wave is the biggest issue. They can sit afk under the tower and I'd prefer that to having some retard touch my wave, as ADC you have almost 0 control in the laning phase and unless the support has two braincells, which they won't, you'll be better off playing an ADC mid or top or something.
