Try clearing Challenge Mode 1 and 2 on PSO2, solo or even 4 players and tell me it's easy.It's really unfair to expect Wuwa will become mechanically complex as those MMOs. But I can also kinda blame Kuro for designing it similarly to it. Wuwa can never have a more complex mechanics than it already has. They still want to maintain the mobile market. I find that to be a shame, but it is what it is. Still miles better than the rest of the slop that we currently have.

Despite the lack of content I always feel immersed when I play Wuwa because I always have something to do. Echoes being a part of the open world is just a stellar idea, I like my characters, I want to make them stronger, for that I have to explore the fucking open world and kill the enemies which means every area remains potentially interesting. It's definitely grindy but it's better than every alternative I've seen in gacha with real time combat. But in a way it can be frustrating, I never alt F4 thinking I did what I needed to

>>489398819The first 8 chapters are considered "The Filtering" and they are the game release chapters, after that the story gets decent, and quickly improves to good and then to absolute kino, gameplay wise these early chapters have a hidden chapter each, in these you see the story from the villain's pov and you play as them, however due to being made when they didn't have the funds the gameplay is really clunky and one of the worst things about the start of the game, after a certain point (around chapter 14 I think) there are no more hidden chapters, you still get the villain povs but without the shitty clunky gameplay. As for whether you should skip or not, my opinion is to give it a try, the problem with the first 8 chapters is that they are basically monster of the week and character introductions with some world building, so there's no huge plot developments, however they are important for you to give a shit about your main squad, so if you skip it, the emotional moments later on might not hit as well as they should, so only skip if the plot is gonna make you drop it.
