The real problem is how compact OCG makes engines. Maxx "C" taking 9 spaces in most decks means you have less space to work with. Engines that let you combo off with 1 card with almost no bricks is cancerous. In the TCG you just fit in more handtraps; combo decks are able to run up to 12 handtraps, sometimes even more, comfortably. Even OCG decks can do this seeing how small engines have become.
