Equipment helps but it's always better to use it to power up attacks instead. Overall, it feels like a more restricted version of the previous game. Kinda more balanced, yet not at the same time.

Super easy to just zone most enemies and you don't have to afraid of light types since they are all vaxxies. Word of warning, Demidevimon/PicoDevimon seems to have low stats to mirror Patamon. The adult stages make up for it by being cracked but that early game is a struggle.
