It's just that in this game, with standard weapons being pickable means that it's almost assuredly more worth to get standard weapons with your green rolls vs a standard character roulette. You may get verina/encore buuuut you may get lingyang instead. With weapon rolls and standard rolls both working towards a weapon, you can get two weapon pities in roughly a year or so just off of store gibs, this on top of the free weapon box you gear early on. In that respect, it's pretty easy to replace an r5 BP weapon even as a f2p.
