Listen, Ian Flynn can do decent stuff but he just made a big mistake with IDW that's been hurting the comic for a long time. His references have gone too far as well. I think the editors at Archie must have exerted more power back then because you heard them changing stuff, and pruning away of Ian's bad ideas (and injecting their own bad ones sometimes). The ironic part is that despite him being under more restrictions than before, somehow his stuff got worse because he made the central message of the comic focus on something completely nonsensical and just kept going further. It was okay in the past that he wasn't quite that receptive to critique because then he hadn't made such egregious mistakes before, but now he really needs to listen and he and Evan need to backpedal on their mistakes and change the focus of the book entirely. It can still be salvaged, its not too late.
