Cantrips scaling on character level rather than caster or class level also means that you can really get away with some aggressive multiclassing with Warlock that you couldn't otherwise do with other classes. Pact of Blade's extra attack stacks with other sources of extra attack in the non-Honor ruleset. Warlock is kind of an idiotproof class/multiclass, worst comes to worst, you always have pew pew in your pocket, and that's never a genuinely bad option. 2 levels lock with ten other classes with a single level would still be a good build, provided you itemize for Blast.

Absolute Wrath loads at the start of combat with enemies, not when they are out of combat, so you can get stuff like when you surprise them, they suddenly have boss resistance. Also all the passives and such are RNG, so you won't get someone with the same stuff whenever you reload the fight. Champions just makes NPCs nonsensical, like a goblin turning into a mindflayer midcombat, or a bugbear turning into a bear form druid midcombat.
