This makes what SoA did with changing Sonic Adventure's Sonic's lines to make him more like the way he was in the bible and cartoons egregious to me. Cultural exchange like this is fine, it shows the Japanese side was kind to them and even despite this SoA just kept treating the creators badly. This is kind of sad. They did adapt the stuff that was more harmless to introduce rather than fully discarding everything invented by SoA about Sonic, and I respect the their decisions to do this. It's really validating to know that this old stuff does hold value, even if the decisions that lead to them being created in the first place was kind of questionable.I wish they could have taken the Freedom Fighters in and changed them to fit the game lore.

I feel some fans of Archie load too much hate on SoJ, thinking that they're evil or bad or something and stuff. But they've already been too kind already by merging the lore instead of erasing all of SoA's contributions completely. They're letting an Archie writer contribute to game projects now, and they've shown interest in including a character with a similar name and design to an Archie character and integrating it into a game. A Freedom Fighting group is now canon to the games, and their catchphrase from SatAM is now canon to the games as well. They still mostly want their vision Sonic to be pushed forward, but they are taking cues and stuff from other sources as well. So no, the creatives in Sonic Team aren't some kind of villains, its more complicated than that and despite my bias towards stuff based off of the Sonic Bible. SoJ's done horrible things before, don't get me wrong like rushing and crunching the devs but SoA's pretty much not innocent either considering how they completely changed everything about Sonic without permission from the original devs.Don't you guys see it? It's a blessing that even the little small things are integrated into Sonic. I probably care too much about this but I'm extremely grateful that they're doing this, thanks Iizuka.
