I gave therapy a shot for the last month. It made me realize a few things about myself, and it sort of fed into my self-cynicism. I told my therapist I hadn't noticed a positive upwsing in mood in the last 8 months in my journal, which is true. He immediately asked me if I had considered psychiatric medication as an alternative to therapy and it kind of made me laugh a little. I just don't know what to make of that. Everyone jokes about being beyond help but that sort of sealed the deal for me. I'm also beginning to process that it's kind of... I wouldn't say over for me, but I just don't look toward the future positively. At all. And I was kind of... I guess distressed isn't really the right word. A little, I suppose, upset by that fact. But the truth is that I never really cared because I never really thought about it, and the truth is that I don't even care that I don't care, because it never really mattered. Whatever happens to me happens, and I can make it slightly more pleasurable if I try to make it that way, and that's about all I'm willing to do, really.

I played KS when it released, so many years ago. I only managed to finish one route, the game was too sad, and I never really felt compelled to see the rest through.Now that it's on Steam and I'm more than a decade older, I've finished the routes, all the good ones.
