So i'm new and building Enzo with Piercing Light, is this weapon not as good for him like Enduring Legacy? I'm only doing like 20m total damage in frost walker, hitting weak points with sniper rifle is hard too. I don't know why but after the weak point spots are broken, i deal little damage hitting the meat. Like 200k per shot hitting meat whereas before I was hitting plate for 900k. Enzo's support is cool though, i feel like my runs have been a lot more successful with supply firearm enhancement build

He has another build that doesn't rely on it but requires a lot more inputs, movement and timing on PC and I am sure is impossible on consoles. You can trade all the crits for more skill power and cooldown with creative explosion, do the mines animation cancel tech to drop 25-30+ bombs. If you get it right, the dmg is higher and more consistent but here is the thing. If Esiemo doesn't get hit, he can recover MP quickly for more bombs. Dodging all attacks while doing this long ass set up is pretty sweaty. Or you can pick Lepic and Hailey and do more damage with 1% of the effort. So while Esiemo is much better now and is capable of big numbers, I still don't think he is good. Imo he went from D tier to B-. They can still buff him and improve his animations further.

With this discussion about player drop off, I have a probably controversial take. Having a shooter be a farming game is a bad mix of genres. Why is that? Because in a farming game you're going to spend more hours than any other genre to progress. The problem with mixing a shooter into that genre is effort and focus.I think Path of Exile is the best comparison for my point. In that game, the most popular and beloved builds are the ones that require the least effort and buttons to press. For every build, players try to automate as much of it as possible. This is normal behavior since you are going to spend dozens upon dozens of hours doing repetitive tasks, so why not make it a smoother experience? The devs have some kind of mental illness and hate this natural reaction, and many times have attempted to convince players to make builds that use more than 1 or 2 buttons.PoE's current state is the ideal future for this game, where big season updates bring everyone back even though they all leave after a few weeks to repeat the cycle every few months.I've enjoyed the game for 200+ hours and spent a good amount to support the devs so I'm hoping for a comeback though not optimistic for it.
