FFXIV is so much better than WoW it's not even a joke. I haven't played that trash dumpster fire game in over 15 years but I can confidently tell you that it still sucks. It literally enslaves you and you're not even allowed to shit and piss without permission, that's why they all have shit jugs. Whereas FFXIV respects your time and lets you play other games. For just $13 a month, Square Enix lets me play all the other games I want as long as they're free. It's such a great deal. And there is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much content! With level sync, no content is ever outdated so that's basically ten years of raids and dungeons that are permanently evergreen. In fact, I raid Sastasha at least once a day just because it's so much fun. Imagine having that in WoW. Oh, and did you hear about the scandals? I heard someone stole breast milk from the fridge. That's insane, right guys? I'm glad I chose the right side of history by switching to FFXIV. Thank you Asmongold and Gremlo for showing me this game. I'm only level 32 but I'm having such a blast! I've played 2,000 hours so far. Oh, and the story hits me RIGHT IN THE FEELS! I cried SOOOOOOOOOOOOO HARD. Try doing that in Cataclysm.

The 2 minutes meta is bad because they made a solution to a problem that they fixed already by making jobs way simpler.Back in Stormblood jobs had a more involved rotation+TP, with raid buffs being different timers, so people had to put a lot of brain power to both how their job played+the timing on raid buffs.In Shadowbringers they went to the approach of making the jobs easier, also removing TP, so now people could enjoy playing their jobs while still having the 'depth' of knowing when to line up buffs with others, this was fine.Then Endwalker came and they made all buffs 2 minutes as "quality of life", problem is, all jobs were simpler by this point, so there was no need to make things even easier.So we went from Hard jobs+Hard buff line up > Simpler jobs + hard buff line up (perfect spot imo) > Simpler jobs + simple buff line up.
