Hello and welcome to my review of the companion; Melana the Warmaiden. 4/10. Too repetitive for how long it takes to level her up. There is an optional file to speed it up, which still takes too long considering how she changes and with how repetitive her dialogue is. What actually changes is seemingly very little and the voice actor goes a bit too far with adjusting her pitch and it's noticeable. The writing is bland, nothing really makes her stand out, yet has less personality than in-game companions. Not very effective in battle, as she is only able to use Flames and Healing as spells. She can use equipment you give her, but she's still weaker than other companions. Her dialogue is very modern and the delivery is mediocre. Personally, I dislike excessively long sentences and she has plenty of them. Lastly, her entire gimmick is that as you travel with her, she will shift into a stronger individual both physically and in personality, but it's too sharp with 3 phases as opposed to a more gradual curve in. The positives are that she is light-weight, had no bugs or issues, and isn't filled with bloat like singing songs. She isn't lore-breaking and the references to other games, memes, or inside jokes are very few. She is about as basic as a modded companion can be. Thank you for reading my review.

Vampires obviously come with a bunch of sun-based debuffs to counter any of the buffs they get, and being a werewolf passively gives you what, disease resistance?
