>>499588568as long as you have make auto hard saves you can get away with it anyway. its bad, sure, and can cause issues, sure, but people do it anyway and have 100 hour saves. just depends on your tolerance for bugs. Skyrim doesn't unload a lot of things when you reload and tries to reuse what it can. For the most part its not as big an issue as people make it out to be but it alllll depends. The worst thing that can happen is scripts that were meant to be fired once won't fire again, scripts that were laggy might persist into the new save, and so on. Papyrus doesn't reset properly between reloads for whatever reason. Honestly mod modded scripts won't get that buggy, all the big guys have a lot of sanity checks and everyone generally keeps papyrus calls simple. You'll could get a bunch of weird orphaned scripts that build up in your save file over and slow your game, resaver might fix that. If you died under a heavy script load or in a very scripted quest area or something, you better restart. There are also a lot of non script related things that are much weirder and I don't know too many of those off hand, like merchant inventories not being reloaded.

Even shitty, out-of-the-way villages in the middle of nowhere have inns where you can eat and drink and sleep, like rorikstead or old hroldan.I think the only form of tedium that works in skyrim is repairing gear, because ingots are expensive and aren't always easy to come by.

>>499696441needs mods for me arent about hardcore survival, it's more about pacing your adventure and basically playing fantasy life simulator. you carry some food with you, you may need to find a water source along the way, you stop for dinner, you clear the cave you find somewhere to sleep etc. i like honed metal, handing your armor in to be repaired and you go read books or go hunting/do light questing until it's ready

Increase that time to something like 1200 seconds and make it quite potent and then you have something which viably makes it a good idea to eat food.Should probably make it so that you cant stack it too much as well, so you get full up and cant eat a trillion cheese wheels etc, maybe even keep eating powerful food items to when at a cooking station only.I think that balances immersion and "need"

It’s about setting up camp, making dinner for you and your companion (or kid, or spouse, whatever) and needing to pay attention to these things. It’s the same with bathing. Last Seed gets pretty autistic with it, which I both enjoy and are tired of. Because on one hand I like the added depth that you don’t get with Survival mode, Sunhelm, or iNeed but on the other hand it gets insanely annoying when Teldryn Sero starts bitching that he’s hungry 10 minutes after demolishing an entire cheese wheel, a bowl of ash yam soup, and enough mazte to kill a small child. And when you have three or four of them with you? I swear I spent more time hunting and shopping than I did actually doing missives and hunting dragons I did like that about starfroat in particular, since companions didn’t eat and it did work well with gourmet and blade and blunt which are two mods I was using at the time and still am (I use Wildcat instead now)
