>WHAT IS HELLDIVERS 2?
HELLDIVERS 2 is a 2024 co-op, squad-based, PvE 3rd person shooter for PC and PS5 where players fight against hordes of alien insects and robots to Spread Democracy. Players wage war on a number of contested planets, each with a different environment, completing as many objectives as possible within a procedurally generated area while constrained by a time limit. With enough successful operations a planet can be completely liberated, and the player base must cooperate to try to liberate the entire galaxy by focusing and combining their efforts as much as possible.

>WHAT ABOUT THE FIRST HELLDIVERS GAME?
Released in 2015 for PC, PS3/4 and PS Vita, the original HELLDIVERS is the origin of the setting and basic gameplay formula of HELLDIVERS 2. The major difference is that HELLDIVERS is a top-down shooter, its mechanics being based primarily on Arrowhead's previous game Magicka.

Medium pen (speculation) smg sounds nice. Would work well with the ballistic shield. Rocket striders are still going to ownzone you when they hit the shield though.

I'd almost guarantee it would be equipped by some TOTAL NIGGER that is 300 meters on the other side of the map instead of playing with the team to fight back the fucking spawns contesting the flag.
>>
>>499652504
I play 7 on bugs because if I'm playing bugs I already just want to turn my brain off and take meme loadouts. It's still diff 9 for bots because diff 8 players are certified retards but they have all the awful high difficulty modifiers. Diff 10 feels too sweaty, but 9 players are competent for randoms. As long as I don't pick a flag mission it's all very doable.

Starting? what do you mean starting? It's been that way for ages. Or are you some sort of autist who cannot understand subtext? practically everything you are told in the game is in the service of getting yourself killed for the state, Everything is a lie to get you to kill yourself faster.

From the obvious propaganda, to the more subtle things, like nuke missions, you are nowhere near safety when you fire off that nuke, anyone who has done some research into nukes, and yes, this includes meme bullshit you can find on jewtube or some other website can tell you our boys are gonna be dealing with 12 different types of cancer in the next 2-4 years or so. NTA but this has little to do with "nazis" per se. This is just standard "ughhh The Elites don't care about The Common Man/Soldier" that people apply to any nation and any war.
Ironically nazis cared plenty about their soldiers. I think they were the first ones to start mounting ejection seats in fighters.
Also, commies like to say "fascism is capitalism in decay". I could see them slowly turn Super Earth's current goofy Bushite-liberal-hyper-jingoism into something more blatantly "nazi".

Those two, along with jetpacks, will make duo SC running a breeze.
Would also make a great case for skirmishing tactics using hit-and-run maneuvers a lot.
Too bad the game is built solely around just marching onto the objective, blowing it all to pieces, then fighting reinforcements while you wait for the retard-proof consoles to finish their tasks.

Mission objectives where running in to grab stuff and having to GTFO ASAP would be fun and these two boosters would make it interesting.

it had both, yes.

>The presence of the rear pusher propeller also necessitated the provision for an ejection seat for safe escape from a damaged aircraft, and designing the rear propeller and dorsal fin mounts to use explosive bolts to jettison them before an ejection was attempted – as well as twin canopy jettison levers, one per side located to either side of the forward cockpit interior just below the sills of the five-panel windscreen's sides, to jettison the canopy from atop the cockpit before ejection.

Just cheat the system by running guard dog and getting 18 kills every single time your guard dog shoots 2 marauders, because it kills the same bot 4-9 times due to netcode desyncs.
Or just be the connection host and find a SEAF SAM so every single time a bot drop happens you get 100+ kills for doing nothing.
Or just have a good in general connection so every single time your stratagems and damage get queue netcode priority over the stratagems and damage of other helldivers.

Super Earth is based as much on 1984 as it is on Starship Troopers, which is neat. 1984 is the granddaddy of grimdark where history is whatever the leaders order it to be, information is inaccessible, your own children are incentivized to undermine you, the average human life is void of any luxury barring some cheap imitations of stuff like coffee, and the pursuit of happiness gets punished with beatings or meat grinder trench duty. Ultra grim. Joining the war voluntarily and going out in a blaze would be the superior alternative to life as a prole so it makes sense that all Helldivers are eager volunteers.

As much as I like grimdark shit, I don't understand how people can think that it applies to the real world. I don't think any society that has total human misery would have tons of volunteers for war. The idea they present is that when life is so bleak and awful that dying in war seems like the only escape, that's how the gubbament gets the most troops... Doesn't make a ton of sense to me.

You can see that with Russia right now irl. Their population is miserable, poor, and oppressed and they have to drag people out of their homes and conscript them to keep their war going.

Am I the only one who finds bots less stressful than bugs?
On bugs I have to watch for ninja chargers and jumpy fuckers 100% of the time, while on bots you very rarely get one-shot or effectively one-shot by enemies you weren't even aware of before they hit you.
>>
>>499663010
you're asking for pain by equipping a machine gun in the current state of the game. they're mid as al fuck now. just bring sentries. they do more damage and can auto aim. treat yourself to a more efficient support weapon. I recommend railgun, AMR, AC. each of these can BTFO so much harder on either faction than any machine gun and will never run out on you if you are half decent at ammo conservation. seriously fuck MGs. I'd love to use them but they got shafted in all these changes.

The stims are the real dead giveaway. Anything capable of numbing pain enough to get you walking on a broken leg, or using a broken arm, is going to be so addictive that after a survivor exits service, you're going to have massive rehab problems. Solution? No survivors. All potential leakers killed. "Truth" and public perception assiduously managed to maintain carefully crafted information asymmetry.

The most horrifying bit is how close in real life we are to really implementing something that could be used to effectively pull something like that off.

Death toll would have to be as bad as it is in-game for that to be pulled off. You hear no horror stories from Helldivers because none of them live long enough to tell stories. Even the natural born fighters (these exist irl too, some people are just damn good at surviving combat) will die under extremely oppressive and unwinnable conditions... Which is pretty much every Helldiver operation. So even the absolute best of the best divers probably have a life expectancy of a few operations. If they're returned to cryo after a completed mission or operation, that means their next waking moments will be another dive. They don't have time to commiserate or talk to anyone.

So you essentially have an extremely disposable, infinite supply of divers that WILL die relatively soon after being deployed. You can do anything you want with those dudes and they'll never tell a soul.
>>
>>499648852
Yeah.
Seeing engineer armor just be helldiver base armor but painted orange is cool.
>>
>>499670830
It's actually really weird because the death rate to mission success rate and effectiveness of the troops is actually super good. But because people are only deployed in small teams and fresh bodies are only brought in once they die, all active helldivers are 100% guaranteed to die.
Very weird dynamic that doesn't look anything like a normal war.

Obviously it's mostly just a gampelay thing, but still weird to think about.

I've explained this away as the fact that divers are all brainwashed freshies that are just straight up charging in and shooting everythung that moves, wildly throwing stratagems and have almost zero sense of self preservation... Much like a player in a video game. They take some bullets and what do they do? Stim. Suddenly they're filled with super drugs that make them feel like gods and make it so they can power through broken limbs and blood loss. That shit doesn't wear off quickly. They're now juiced up roidragers with retard strength and democratic fire in their hearts. They're going to absolutely massacre anything that isn't human until they finally take too many bullets and straight up die.

Or if by some miracle they make it to extraction, they probably crash right as they get back to the destroyer and are whisked away to medical where they're patched up and frozen again. Take off the bad limbs, give them the stim antidote, repair the minor damage and bam, another diver for the cause.

It's really horrific honestly.

>Anything capable of numbing pain enough to get you walking on a broken leg, or using a broken arm, is going to be so addictive that after a survivor exits service, you're going to have massive rehab problems
Stim clearly don't just numb pain though, you'll bleed out if you don't stim a chest injury, so they must be some sort of nano machine wolverine healing factory injection.

Which means the actual "addictive" nature is probably far more terrifying. You know how when you take steroids your endocrine system just shuts down, because your body says "if this asshole is just going to keep pumping an orangutan's worth of testosterone every week, why am I still working to make testosterone like a sucker?".

So what happens when you regularly pump your body full of shit that completely mogs your body's natural healing ability?

Permacura is technically correct, stims are NOT addictive. Your body will just completely lose all ability to heal on its own after "excessive" stim use.
>>
The more I play the more I realize shield gen is a god send. Just wish they shrunk the radius. Being able to soak all the tiny splash rockets helps so much.

You think too small. Think Boeing 737 MAX, Thalidomide, Erin Brokovich, the Sacklers/Opioid epidemic, THERAC-25/Agent Orange, Asbestos, Fen-Phen and every other act of corporate/industrial scale malfeasance, but instead of having the Government prosecute corps for it, it was the Government telling them to go ahead and do it because "population numbers are starting to exceed current projections anyway, and the stronger economy is worth the sacrifice" and there being a monopoly/MITM of any technical communication system, with plaintext only security to allow for top down censorship in near real time, and a Stasi like zeal indoctrinated into the populace to keep grassroots organization in check and unsanctioned whistleblowing in check, and finally, a willingness to engage in downright slaughter and disappearence of any objectors wholesale.

That's what we're getting closer to the technical capability to implement, what many politicians don't want to outright come out and talk about. Those who think "but no one would really do that" need to wake up. Because the capability is there.

Any news on what the sprint booster is? Less slowdown from being out of stamina would be nice. Sacrificing health for continued sprint while out of stamina would be hilarious.

Giving the shittier guns more ammo is probably the easiest way to buff them with minimal chance of overdoing it.

the main purpose is that it negates all the small arm fire shit that would flinch you. Very few things will actually take the shield out, and you can build around killing that stuff.

The shield has always struck me as having 3 real uses
>drop it down before charging into a defended base and use it to wipe enemies while taking fire
can still be done and works better than before with teammates thanks to the bigger shield, but no restart means your entire attack fails if the shield breaks prematurely
>drop it down on a point or near a terminal you need to defend
Kind of works better than before, but worse if you're actually in close quarters with enemies, which is when you need it the most
>drop it down before turrets so they don't get destroyed
You have to do it the other way around and that usually doesn't work well against bots

This might come as a surprise to you, but it's cheaper to pay a few thousands for some metal than training a new soldier. Specially if they made it out alive from the situation that maimed them. It's the reason why fighter jets have ejection seats, because despite the jets being 100+ million dollars, it's better to save the fucker who knows how to use them than training a new pilot. It's also one of the factors that led to the defeat of the japanese in WW II, all of their pilots were killing themselves, and the new ones where just going up in the air to get killed by experienced american pilots.

The gov just gives them an unlimited budget and heavy weapons to go crazy on enemies because otherwise they might do something back home like set off suicide vests in public places as a show of patriotism.

Join helldivers
Receive training
Receive potential specialized training for fire corps/recon/winter/whatever (These are the warbonds)
Go to Mars
Do refresher course, get stimmed (You are now guaranteed to be on the combat stims, from now until you die)
Get cape
Get on ship
Seconds later, drop into combat.

How hard is this to understand?
>>
>>499685475
I think you fully misunderstand.
Helldivers aren't drawn from regular civilians. They come from already trained soldiers.
Helldivers are special forces. They're paratrooopers and VDV. They were regular army/navy before this. The armed forces works the same way. You don't go straight into special forces training. You gotta be in the armed forces already.

SEAF is for retard normies, Helldivers is for zealots. You can buy Helldiver camp and investment packages for your kids as referenced by ingame ads, there is nothing elite about them other than what propaganda tells you. They're all disposable bodies given capes and fancy equipment to look good for cameras to keep the fake war going.

The way cryogenics works is that in order for you to not die there has to be something that keeps the water in your body from forming ice crystals like the organic antifreeze found in wood frogs or mammoths. So you can have your brain working essentially like normal with just a much slower rate and information could be getting dumped into it with the right tech.

You could be getting an education while in your pods too.

And it tracks with the idea I was bouncing around in my head that the popsicles aren't actually asleep. Besides just dream-mode weapons training, a number of divers up to the maximum reinforcement amount are put on standby mode where they can observe the current mission as it starts in real-time so there isn't any time wasted on mission briefings when reinforcements are called in.

The point of weapons training is more than just knowledge, but you need to physically do it, as well. Muscle memory is a necessity and it comes from repetition. You can't just do it in popsicle sleep.

Which is why I keep saying that Helldivers were regular armed forces before applying for a position as a Helldiver.
>>
>>499691101
There is no evidence whatsoever to support your assertation with the information the game presents. TV ads have to play general tactics like "Use anti-armor weaponry instead of wasting bullets on heavy armor."

It's like asking why Gordon Freeman can expertly handle every weapon he's ever interacted with. It's a videogame and nobody thought about it that hard.

It's got slight use case because it doesn't make medium enemies flinch, making your followup shot trying to hit the head easier, but then it has worse damage, a worse scope, can't do shit to medium enemies if you can't see their head, and can't handle armored scout striders.
>>
>>499692141
The Dagger is one of the best secondary weapons in the game. Practically near-unlimited ammo, and more than powerful enough to take out chaff. Great for times when you need to cull small groups of enemies without wasting ammo.

You can cover the AP3 weakness with the Verdict or Senator, or by shooting strider rockets if you get the chance. I have great success with this combo. Won't use it for bugs though, hive guards and too many bugs means I need more bullets than what a DMR can afford.

Not viable. Builds with no variety are weak by default. You want to be able to throw out as many different categories of damage as possible. If you go all laser you won't even do one fifth as much damage as the guy who uses a laser but also gas, fire, explosions, and shittons of bullets (sentries are god tier rn). So make a varied build, then accommodate it for your favorite laser pointer.

All those points about not flinching on bots, so the head doesn't bob, and I find its nice if you wanna use a DMR for bugs since both versions already do a lot of damage per-shot and 5 extra bullets feels like its worth more against the higher number of chaff than the extra damage the DCS gets desu
>>
>>499691306
>Now how about explaining why you come from cryo when joining someone else's ship but also come out of cryo when returning to your own
Relevant data is transferred from meat popsicle to meat popsicle through the same data transference system that allows the divers on standby to observe ongoing operations. We don't need to transfer the popsicle, unless a ship needs restocking, just the critical mission info that the Helldiver operatives need to operate operationally. This is done through the presumably robust FTL communications network that keeps your galaxy map updated in real time. Please don't ask me to explain a galaxy spanning empire with FTL technologies.
>>499691554
>but you need to physically do it, as well. Muscle memory is a necessity and it comes from repetition
This makes sense to me, I didn't mean to imply otherwise. My own personal experience corroborates this too. Helldivers being selected from the armed forces with previous experience with the weapons makes sense as well. I can't say that cryosleep is like the sleep I've had, but saying cryosleep is a "Super Simulation that they all practice and get really good in" to justify all divers knowing all the weapons inside and out and having perfect handling and reloading of all the systems they have access doesn't give them the muscle memory to do that. Otherwise it'd be what, every reload gets a randomized timer that changes the length it takes to reload and the longer your diver is alive the lower it gets? With a chance of fumbling too? Oh god I hope the Swede autism doesn't get a glimpse of this what have I done

I think it's weird to think about because of an instinctual feeling of horror that given you handwave the getting to that point part, once you're there the setup actually kind of works and settles into a meatgrinding equilibrium.

No group of Helldivers is unsupervised in any one place long enough for substantive culture contrary to the indoctrination to form. Even if it does, cross-pollination between Helldivers only happens on OPs, which come with high chances of death, and are time constrained, and at least monitored somewhat through telemetry.

...And yet, that stupid shovel Easter Egg in training makes me think maybe in death, even a dying Helldiver or 2 manage to leave logs on their equipment that might be read by other Helldivers who come and discover them on the battlefield before Super Earth can get to them. Divers who do less dangerous OPS, and mix and mingle with many other divers before dying might act as nexii for oral communication to transmit culture.

By Democracy, I think I've figured out how those damned Rebels might work! Someone needs to get this to the Ministry of- --SIGNAL LOST, Diver terminated by friendly fire--

The fun thing is it embodies the kind of videogamey experience you get with resurrective immortality. All Helldivers are fresh recruits, there are no "veterans". Helldivers fight until they die, then are immediately replaced by another fresh recruit who does the same thing. But you as a player get more experienced and aware of what you're doing, what you need to do to survive, tips and tricks that High Command doesn't teach the Helldivers. Stuff you'd only learn by BEING a veteran. So when you deploy as a fresh recruit you have the skills you rightfully shouldn't have. Remember that the training manual says "When in doubt don't think, just yell 'for democracy!' and rush headlong towards your problems."

It's like that movie Edge of Tomorrow. Almost all the soldiers there are fresh recruits and die in their first battle, including the protagonist. But the protag has resurrective immortality and can learn from every death, and once he gets used to it he starts getting better and better, until he's easily the most skilled soldier on the battlefield. The original LN/manga series it was based on had the protag go into a blind rage at the end and kill more enemies in one battle than the next most experienced soldier did in their entire career.

The ball needs to have downward velocity for it to stick, you can see in this webm that it went past the peak of the arc before hitting the charger. As long as you have a little bit of elevation over the enemy you can get it to stick pretty consistently, but a good rule of thumb for chargers is to aim at their head before throwing.

>>499709126
The real answer, is that ALL soldiers no matter how elite are by definition disposable. That doesn't actually mean though, that the leftist masochist fantasy of a military that capriciously squanders the lives of its soldiers is a realistic one.

Even the apparently callous and wasteful WW2 Soviet doctrine of marching soldiers through mine fields rather than clearing them, was born out of the logic that simply marching them through produces an equivalent casualty rate to assaulting a heavily defended enemy position. So it saves more lives in the long run to choose the option that maximizes mission tempo as well as the speed and initiative of your fighting force, rather than wait around for specialty mine clearing units to arrive then slowly clear a path while harassed by enemy fire.
>>
>>499647484
D1 or D3 for super credit farming? I need to grind out about 300.
>>
>>499712092
D1 is very simple because it's very short distances between POIs. I just got 4 different SC locations for a total of 40 SC on a single mission.
Some people say D3 because it has overall more POI, but the distances are also longer, there's a bigger chance of obstacles appearing, and more enemies means more time you need to spend not reaching the SCs.
>>
>>499712092
>>499712376
Also. Make a lobby and I'll join to open bunkers. I also need to find around 300 to 400 SCs before the new Warbond drops.
>>
>>499711495
>If they're not gonna make Patrols converge at extraction
It does tho.
>>
>>499712376
That makes sense. I wish it was more common to get higher stacks of SC than 10.
>>
>>499712558
It does not, unless you already have enemies attacking you and they call for reinforcements. You can have patrols go past you and ignore the extraction site.

Either make every patrol converge at extraction once the timer starts, or reduce the extraction time to a minute or a minute thirty, with the booster reducing around 30 seconds.

>>
>>499687572
It's funny that people believe that real life SF are not expendable. It means the propaganda works.

In total war conditions, direct action special forces suffer massive casualty rates in constant high risk operations. Sometimes they get lucky and pull off a miracle, but individuals in these units will end up in a meatgrinder sooner or later. Multiple US army ranger and British commando units were completely annihilated or suffered extreme casualties in WW2 for example. The 1st SF itself, the "Devils Brigade" suffered an attrition rate of 600%. By comparison, line rifle companies suffered attrition rates around 100-300% in the ETO.
>>
>>499713290
are you sure you're remembering tera correctly?
It was full action combat, there wasn't any "select enemy and push buttons" like in WoW. You had a couple of abilities that were lock-ons (mostly from the spellcasters) but most of it was skillshots / aimed attacks.

The strength of the stratagem is the Helldiver, and the strength of the Helldiver is the stratagem. Without the destroyer, a Helldiver is just a soldier with some extra armor and training. Without the Helldiver, the super destroyer cannot target effectively and efficiently.

Most people use 2-3 slots on extra weapons or backpacks. The fire support is mostly an unnecessary afterthought.
>>
>>499713569
That depends on the extract position. In theory: if it is near the edge of the map and you spread a bit then no spawns.
Next time the patrols spawn 20 meters away with 5 secs between each, the drops keep coming every 30 secs somehow and usually that happens in the FUCKING FLATLAND EXTRACTION WHY

There is nothing more satisfying than mag dumping the AC into a Impalers face, wish the mag size where 20 rounds though, feel a bit anti climactic blowing through 10 rounds too quickly
>just team reload bro
Only the RR get that treatment
>>
Heres my honest review on the new warbond having played with it all.

SG20 Halt is mid. While the stun rounds seem ok at stopping enemies from advancing you can do the same thing with other shotguns due to stagger. You're not going to stun then switch rounds because switching to flechette rounds is tedious mid fight, just bring a different shotgun and kill enemies instead. Has some gimmick use in hitting chargers in weak points with stun rounds and hitting the back of hulks but otherwise not top tier.

SMG32 is bad, as expected. No medium armor pen means its isn't doing anything new over existing SMGs. SMGs dont struggle with damage they struggle with being usable against most enemies which have some level of armor.

PLAS-15 actual winner of the warbond. Is a viable alternative to Revolver and as OP as it is, good weapon but low ammo.

Dead Sprint: Troll item, kick on sight to anyone who picks it.
>>
I haven't played in months. I guess you need to wait for the impaler guy to dig into the ground before shooting him? Sometimes it feels like it takes 1 rocket but most of the time it takes 2. Same with the BT even though I swear I'm hitting it in the head.
>>
>>499689601
Not an elite supersoldier, more like an elite superadmiral, they're literally given free reign to blow up a colony's surface as long as they try to complete the objective without deserting
>>
>>499716208
Its harder to hit a man on the ground than a plane in the sky. Men and drop pods are also cheaper than planes that can enter and leave planet orbits.

Team Reload is never gonna be a widespread thing until AH lets us team reload from the shooter's backpack. It doesn't even make sense to team reload from your own backpack, the reason reloading it is so slow is because you can't reach your backpack, but apparently you can when you use it to reload someone else? Insanity.
>>
>>499719050
>but how fast it drains the HP?

I genuinely don't understand why this hasn't been implemented. People have been begging for it since day 1, and refusing to team reload otherwise. Have they ever made a statement on it? It's so silly.
>>
>>499719050
>>499719251
A case could be made with the old can only stim when hurt, but as it s right now it's painfully obvious that it's useless. Oh I have to run away and can't afford to stop, if you have stims then use them, if you're out you're fucking going to die unless somehow reaching a point 2 seconds before is the ultimate salvation.
Shit you could have made it like, sprint 10% faster and you get damaged if out of stamina. Bam, useful in general with a bit of things you have to pay attention to and easily buffed/nerfed if needed.

>It also means it's near impossible with pubs because it requires coordination in form of asking them to give you their backpack or call a new one, a task way above average player
>This is on top of the primary drawback: sacrificing your own firepower in order to help someone else
It's such an incredibly easy fix to just let you assist someone if either of you is wearing the backpack but no, AH is acting as usual.
>>
>>499720412
HD2 is running on a dead engine with clearly incompetent programmers. I think the idea is don't touch shit, because A. they'll break it and B. they dont know how to fix it.

Case and point they can't even make fire penetrate enemies and not be brokenly OP. That entire 'feature' was an unintended bug they kept in.

Do training. Finish the course. Don't get on the rocket. Leave the launchpad and examine the environment. There's a hidden Helldiver statue with a shovel shoved into a mound of dirt in front of it.

It's probably just a personal touch by a dev/level designer, and almost certainly not intended to communicate anything like the meaning I'm synthesizing from it; but as a symbol in the environment/world the devs have built, it sticks out to me as more than it appears.
>>
>>499720482

This is what happens when you adopt ideas because you're trying to build a brand image or cultural idea rather than use common sense. It worked in HD1 because you physically could not leave your team and people often stole your ammo pack right in front of you to help you.

AH is really just sniffing its own farts and refusing to budge on so many retarded implementations of mechanics.
I'm still seething about tying effects to armor because the appearance simply fucking has to indicate what it does, except there are several armors that are entirely useless (like some light armors without full speed bonus), don't make any sense anyway (Ravager being light armor despite being recolored Drone Master (medium) with MORE armor on top) or in general just the armor perks being extremely uneven in terms of usefulness.
But they very clearly stated they aren't going to change it at all despite how much they try to sell you cosmetics that you basically troll yourself by equipping.
What the fuck was wrong with HD1 simply having perks? It's like they specifically kept every HD1 mechanic that doesn't work in 3D for HD2 and then made sure to replace every mechanic that would work with new, much worse shit.

Its survivorship bias at its worse. They think they know what they're doing, when in reality its mostly blind luck and panic reactions to players telling them what to do and not enough people are complaining about how bad armor is so they're not fixing it. We simply don't have other third person coop shooters which is why HD2 is successful.

So what do we know/think about the Reprimand? What does "Heavy SMG" mean, that it has AP3? Because right now the Defender does more damage per round than the stock Liberator, so it surely can't mean damage output. And on that matter, why is the K***ht the only SMG that actually patterns after real-life SMGs (short range and high rate of fire)?
>>
>>499725246
if it's not in the game nobody knows
it could mean anything because swedes do random shit
half a year ago heavy could mean 60 damage, then it could mean 95 damage, and now it can mean anything, from ap4 to fucking nothing
it looks like it's using big cartridge but looks are completely disconnected from function here
all we know is that firerate will be shit
>>
>>499725246
Hopefully its to the other SMGs what the adjudicator is to the liberator
>>
>>499725246
SMGs aren't SMGs because they have a high ROF fucking retard. Its just a full auto that fires pistol cartridges. Video game ass knowledge of weapons i swear.
>>
>>499725246
also defender is classified as a pistol so it only deals high damage at point blank range, it has very sharp damage falloff
le funny thing is that stalwart is also classified as a pistol, even though everyone says it shoots liberator bullets it's actually more likely defender bullets
>>
>>499725710
to be fair most modern SMGs aside from the UMP have a fairly decent rate of fire but i will concede that vidya makes SMGs into portable bullet hoses
>>
>>499725246
it either has medium penetration, high damage, or both, with the primary malus likely being poor ballistics meaning damage drop and arc at range. One would put it in an okay place relative to other automatics, both would make it pretty great.
