ok so I just went ahead and did all three side-dungeons in one go in the water-y city hub (the third one). While I love the challenge on hard I am starting to feel fatigued by the general dungeon crawling I feel like I have this fucking autism where I overfarm each area so the hardest enemies in the particular dungeon become at least yellow and fairly easy but I feel like this unnecesarily prolongs my gametime and will just get me burned out before I even finish the game. Should I just swap to normal? My fucking friend who also kinda does everything the game offers has same game time but is far more fucking ahead cuz he's playing on normal too. I'm already 40 hours deep and still probably not even halfway through.

Just finished the Opera House and following couple of days in my playthrough. Is it just me or was this a complete mess? The double Louis fakeout deaths were ridiculous, the triple Rella twists had zero time to land because they all happened over the course of like 10 minutes. The Forden backstory is revealed after his death AND we're not even the ones who got to kill him. They overcomplicated this shit so much for no reason, I was laughing when the next day all the citizens could barely keep up with WTF happened. Can you imagine the pigeons they were getting in Grand Trad?I really want to love this game but I'm finding it very inconsistent. The cut content Mage Academy (I'm assuming) was kinda made up for by the challenging dragon boss, but the Opera House segment was awful and the Louis fight was easy as fuck, such a let down even if yes obviously he's going to magically be much stronger next time we fight him. After the fun Etrian Odyssey archipelago this was a real let down.
