Heres my honest review on the new warbond having played with it all.SG20 Halt is mid. While the stun rounds seem ok at stopping enemies from advancing you can do the same thing with other shotguns due to stagger. You're not going to stun then switch rounds because switching to flechette rounds is tedious mid fight, just bring a different shotgun and kill enemies instead. Has some gimmick use in hitting chargers in weak points with stun rounds and hitting the back of hulks but otherwise not top tier. SMG32 is bad, as expected. No medium armor pen means its isn't doing anything new over existing SMGs. SMGs dont struggle with damage they struggle with being usable against most enemies which have some level of armor.PLAS-15 actual winner of the warbond. Is a viable alternative to Revolver and as OP as it is, good weapon but low ammo.Dead Sprint: Troll item, kick on sight to anyone who picks it.

Torcher is good for bugs, any SMG or AR though it sometimes feels like double dipping. Cookout is a good option too for stunning stalkers on bugs. Make that the distinction, HMG you lose your backpack slot but tear through swarms and heavies with maybe 3-500 shots before running dry. MG is all rounder but not great at anything, stalwart is mobility king but can't deal with heaviers.

But any grenades work well, stuns are of course excellent as they give you space to just rip through a congo line of heavy devs.My HMG build is...HMG, Guard dog, Adjudicator, stuns, stim pistol, heavy recoil armor, and whatever reds I feel like. Shield relay lets you lay down and fire for longer. The biggest issue with HMG is that you're typically a sitting duck for random rockets, which just fucks up your aim.Strafing run is nice as your biggest weakness with HMG is tanks and heavies. It also softens up things if you wanna lay into them. Eagle airstrike. Is one of the best compliments with HMG. it kills tanks and factory striders which your HMG struggles with, and it has solid duel purpose by softening up hulks which saves you ammo and blowing up chaff. Guard dog is an absolute must pick for HMG, but I get your running supply pack. It just completely shuts down shield devs which cuck you super hard. It also pairs well with your primary whatever it may be. Resupply is fine though, as stuns will let you mow down patrols.380/Walking.Bit of a luxury, but they'll take out any base you don't want to walk into. I take one of these if my team is competent. You're also pretty slow so it's hard to get into position for these often. But it's nice just having fun gambling with 380s. Lastly going prone helps a ton, but with recoil armor you can crouch which helps a ton with awkward angles and shooting over cover.Flames and gas help a ton with bugs just to clear out the light chaff you don't wanna bother shooting. Also get used to slinging under what you're shooting. You should be max rpm at all times, unless you're sniping.

Maybe the point of a heavy SMG is that it has medium penetration. As an SMG it is meant to be capable of being fired while running, then the tradeoff will likely be DPS, which seems to be observed with it still having a slow fire rate (maybe even slower than the Defender).

Alright someone explain scythe to me.Every primary has good ammo economy, so you can't say infinite ammo. Even then, the sickle does headshots better than the scythe unless we're talking bots.But even then you've got better answers like the Diligence that just one taps and lets you move onto another enemy. Honestly feels like the scythe/laser cannon should just make enemies explode after you headshot them. It even kills zerkers pretty well if you can track their headbob. Obviously it falls short against striders, but if you have the room to maneuver you can sweep the rockets and usually kill one if the game decides to work. It's not in a great spot compared to the other primaries, I'll give you that. But it's not bad and I run it regularly on high diff bot missions.

I just can't imagine what they'd do to it though. Defender also isn't that bad with shield, but it doesn't help the shield enough. Maybe they'll give it super high recoil, but then they'll buff the ballistic shield to negate recoil. Paired with fortified armor, which negates explosives (another one of your weaknesses) and recoil. And it'd be perfect.
