I have no idea how any game fans could enjoy Archie when it always had the game characters outshined by its OCs and had those OCs lecture them. The comic spend the first part of its life no wanting to use things from the games and it's last half acting like it was an obligation (and yes, this was during Ian's run as well). It was so passive aggressive. It only sucked it up when it was forced to reboot where it had no choice but to use game content and characters for its majority.
