In Daphne, you don't necessarily need SSRs. The only bad thing about Alice is that her first dupe is genuinely a brick. Her skill does not increase at all from 1->2. It does however get a full extra turn on 2->3 which is real good. The Alice Dream is getting Cortu with 3 or 4 turns on it from turning mage.
I hope the 2week banners are not temporary and it will stay like this. a new character every week is too much. Every 2 week is managable because you can skip everything. Skillsets are almost the same so you pull for the character design
