You really need to get the timing right on revs. FOTF stagger helps a lot, but it won't prevent Crusher overheads or Bulwarks. The Combat Axe is an easy, strong weapon if you're looking for a good entry point. Throw Brutal Momentum and Headtaker on it, and you're set.

>>502178989Yeah. Lights are actually a good anti-elite/special tool on the Mk IV. Once you get headtaker+sustained assault going, you can chew stuff up surprisingly well. And the nice part about the lights is that they split their damage between two ticks, so having to dodge out of a light attack isn't nearly as punishing as having to dodge out of a heavy, where most of the damage is backloaded. You do still use revved heavies situationally, but the lights are great.

Overhead swing is so fucking slow now. I swear it wasn't like in previous beta, I could spam it much more reliably. Now it basically roots both you and your camera in place. However, Assail is a really consistent, really nice crowd option that perfectly compensates for the failures of Surge staff... but you lose out on the Psykinetic's Aura node, which is arguably one of the most important Psyker traits out there. Are you built for heavy attack lightning stuff, or Mouse 1 light attack spam for staff?
