Remove NAI from the OP. dead service.
Schizos who barge into a community and feign concern, just to shit on the thread and deny the existence of its community, need to stay away from here. Tourism isn't appreciated. What service or model you use has never mattered. Either contribute to the thread, or fuck off and stay out. It's as simple as that.
>>502418560Well said, Anon.
Some storytelling, guys.I'm the anon that posted Danganronpa first person RPG, few times in those threads. The first chapter is now complete, up to the conclusion of the first Class Trial. It was co-written by Erato. 1/2 was AI, though before crime it was closer to 2/3. I was too lazy to update lorebook with evidence, though I already had demonstrated earlier an example of simpler mystery solving that has discouraged me on relying on AI with this. Besides, I had a specific plan for the crime and the class trial. Anyway, after writing it I also had ChatGPT fix it grammar. And I also have added soundtrack. Here's the story:>www.wattpad.com/1495504634-danganronpa-betray-to-trust-chapter-1-betrayerIf you want to quickly skip forward trough the story, add page/X to the url, where X is a number of the page. There are 153 pages.Have one more fragment from NovelAI. Warning, it spoils the victim and the Trial's middle twist.

>>502422830I would assume yes. It’s pretty easy to lurk on 4chan and do other shit especially if you have any even semi modern mobile device. As amusing as the concept is that he just sits around a computer for the majority of the day it’s extremely likely he could be phone positing from work or some shit a lot of the time.Which is arguably even more sad.
>>502425127I'm glad I never got into mobile browsing 4chan tbqh because it encourages me to take an actual break whenever I'm away from the house. I think the only time I ever mobile posted was during the release of a big game so I could keep posting about it from work.
>>502425308Phone screens are too small and bitchy for me to typically bother with unless it’s a super slow hobby thread or i intend to just lurk. I’ll use my tablet all the time, but that’s pretty much also when I have access to my computer anyway
>>502425735I would probably get a tablet/chromebook if I intended to post while out. It's also waaay more enjoyable to watch something compared to a phone screen, David Lynch was right about that.
>>502425985I’m a big fan of my old IPad Air 2 although it is limited as fuck in actual functionality beyond basic bitch day to day. But it’s a nice little high mobility hobby tool for books, browsing, YouTube, and running NAI more or less without issue
>>502408642How do I fix Erato? It won't use any possessive pronouns more then one time in a sentence so you have random grug tier sentencing when describing how a character is feeling in first person.

>>502429456Hypebot update.
>>502429456fix rep penalty this shit is FUCKED
>>502429456Maybe you can already do it but some way to write in things like stats and have it strictly adhere to it, like sizes for instance. Best it can do is often just repeat what I put in the lorebook word for word which isn't very exciting.
>>502428902Do you have a graphics card with 12GB or more of VRAM? Get into local, I take no pleasure in reporting that you can do neater things with local than you can with NAI at the moment
>>502434740Haven't tried local in a while but back then mixtral (?) was pretty slow on my 12GB 3060, and while I dabble in local image gen it's not a great interest
>>502434964Pretty sure he was talking about the new line of image gen models. Local text gen is still very YMMV at 12GB.
>>502434964Try Nemo finetunes, you can get 20t/s at 12k context on them with that.
Llama 90B and Hermes 405B are free on OpenRouter.
>>502432985Can you give an example?Say, a character is 6'7". Should the model say it's large, big, etc. instead of saying it's 6'7"?
>>502437167>you can literally get better for freebut of course your being a troll right now, everyone in this community knows NAI are the only AI company in the world that provide a good service. Really we are all lucky to pay for a model that is smaller than free ones because secret sauce.

Are these trannies in the room with you right now, /pol/tard?
yeah, all over this "community" actually. they're in the THREADS!!!
scary /pol/ boogieman lmao! I could post a shit and it would have more interaction than this faggot filled failed general.
>>502437680Yeah that would be good but I believe it already does that to some extent. What's annoying is when you specify some size and it says another, or it doesn't understand it, when you specify breast size for instance and it thinks "huge, head sized breasts" are D-cup.Or you have some character missing a limb but the acts they do imply or outright state their use of said limb. Might be a skill issue but if the solution is writing long checklists for the model then I'd like that streamlined.

What's the second-best AI for writing long, complex erotica? (after Opus, which I can barely afford).Must have: Long context length, intelligent enough not to hand-hold through complex scenes with multiple characters or complicated scenarios, and either be uncensored or able to be jailbroken. Bonus if it has sovl.
lol
>>502458009Uhh... Probably one of the large Llama models.
>>502458009Probably the latest Sonnet 3.5.After that, I'd try one of the GPT-4 models. Older models like 0314 & 0613 have a more slopped prose but are much easier to jailbreak and are very intelligent. 1106 preview 4-Turbo could also be good. I haven't tried 4o models for smut, but AFAIK the latest one is good when you can get it to work, but you need a really good jailbreak to avoid refusals. You can try Gemini 1.5 Pro too, but while I enjoy its prose a lot I've found it the most difficult to steer.
>>502458901What about NovelAI's new model?
>>502459408Would be easier to recommend if it had a trial tbqh.
>>502459408As someone who heavily used GPT-4 and Claude 3 Opus, Erato is an obvious downgrade in intelligence compared to those but one I personally considered tolerable for the price, convenience, and QoL. I don't know how complicated you make your stories, but it should be able to handle multiple characters well at least. I've found it to be only slightly dumber than Sonnet 3.0, which is a decently smart model if not a work of art like Opus. What ruins it for me is its 8k context. If it had 32k context, I could recommend it. As it stands, I cannot.
>>502459408I do most of my writing on mobile so the UI works well enough for me on the go. Now that it understands 40k and is intelligent enough to do what I need it to do, I can’t really complain.

>>502517916You're welcome as usual.Oof. Yeah, I feel that. Though at least in my troop, we planned the meals beforehand and pooled some of the money to get the ingredients and all that, so nobody was on their own for food. Though it's never a bad idea to have some snacks on you (of certain types, properly wrapped and stashed, especially if camping where bears are). Though we didn't spend much time hiking too deep to campsites. What rank did you get to?I'm not sure I had a visual of the master, but I'd say it felt like a male voice, likely somewhere 50+. Hard to set it much older than that since his master is still alive, but it's a sort of wizened feeling, like someone who has the wisdom of looking after kids, but also grandkids, and thus has lightened up and is less serious than a parent might be. I could certainly hear it as female if I tried, though, there's certainly enough parental care for it. How did you picture the master? That's fair. I waffled on that a little bit, but figured I'd leave it up to you.Ah. In that case, I meant more as for packing water to drink. If you can ask the spirits of the water for pure water to drink, offering something in response, then you don't have to carry gallons of water (or even much in the way of water purification) with you for the hike.Very fair. It felt like something that had to be quite soft, though I suspect there's harder edges out there somewhere. There's likely some amount of limit of just what you can get an air spirit to do.
>"And I also asked, 'Do you want a hummer?'">John laughed, "What the fuck is a hummer?">"Une hummer est une fellation pendant laquelle tu brones comme un hélicoptère," Yui said.>"It's a blowjob while you hum like a helicopter," Mika translated. My fucking side.

Oh, it is so ON now! She's not giving up though, she's like "After the war, they'll need peeps like us to settle down here and make babies!" Y'know, real smooth. But he's still not biting.Janessa's like "We'd make some strong kids!" and I'm like, yass girl, you tell him! But then he threatens to discipline her? Ooh, kinky! Janessa is so here for it, she's like "Let's see it then!" You go girl, get your man! But then it just ends there?! Ugh, somebody better storypost a part two, and three, and however many more it takes, stat!

>>502525518>"Now this is a knife"? More like "Now, this is a wife"You probably want to capitalize the C and F of 'catachan fang'.In 'receive a', that should probably be past tense. The sentence starting 'Sweat-slicked', well, isn't a sentence. I'd start it with an 'A' and change the verb to 'pressed'.In 'in plainly', that should probably be 'it'.Nice touch making it a thing about leadership to not partake.I'd personally insert 'they were as' in 'eyes; green'.An 'of' needs to go in 'either us'.In 'parting to', that should be 'parted'.The period in 'are.” Even' should probably be a question mark. The 'the' in 'notorious the' should be removed.Do you think they still use the term Amazonian? Like, it fits, but it'd be referring to something so far back that the meaning would likely be lost.Isn't the whole point of a death word that it wouldn't be set for colonization officially?Your smart-quote is the wrong direction in 'a—“'. Wonder what it is about emdashes that seems to do that. The comma in 'officers,” Janessa' should be a period. The C in 'smiling. “captains' needs to be capitalized. In 'that playful', that should be 'than'.The F in 'kill. fingers' needs to be capitalized. In 'fact, if', I'd replace 'if' with 'I had'.In 'shifting into', that should be 'shifted'. Either that, or the word 'was' should be inserted in 'relaxation forgotten'.The word 'a' should go in 'that man'.The word 'the' should go in 'in canopy'.Oh, that's a solid end hook there.

>>502762481>this is the only possibility, because I feel it's trueI, too, took a class in bullshitology.
>>502762481It feels like they could solve the chargeback issue by giving themselves some way for them to disable a gift key sub if there's a problem with the payment. No money on their end, you don't get to keep the sub, problem ends itself quick when scammers get nothing from doing their thing. It's a digital purchase, stores selling digital things usually have some legalese shit about revoking your product licenses if you try to fuck them over and the like. It's not an out-of-left-field decision to come up with, so maybe it was something that was either outright not doable or too tedious to do for them not to have done that, versus just opting to outright remove that entire way of making money?
>>502761943Emacs is self-document. You can ask its question. C-h h t to view the tutorial in Emacs.C-h f to ask about a function. C-h v to ask about a variable.C-h k to ask about a key bind. These above are what you would use the most. By default, Emacs doesn't have mode so you can move around and type on demand. If you want a cheat sheet, C-h b shows you the available key combo you can perform.
>>502763402It would be easier to speculate if they specified that chargebacks are the issue. I'm guessing they are since it's the most frequent form of abuse, but they haven't confirmed it, and the solution you mentioned is one that is doable, obvious, and effective, which heightens the odds that there is something more to it that we don't know about.

They turned to her as one, and she regretted drawing attention to herself. Their blank masks hid the cold dead stares she knew were behind them.
I tried writing a possession prompt with Erato and, for the most part, it worked well. Only on rare occasions did it fuck up and treat the possessor (first person) and possessed as separate physical entities in the same scene. The main issue is pronouns. Even using author's notes saying something akin to "I am her and she is me", it would swap between "I/me" and "her" every paragraph or so. Not consistently, just sprinkling it in otherwise correct phrasing. I can't say I'm surprised that would trip up an AI, but it was nice that it mostly handled the theme with very little handholding. It might just be the presets I use, mostly Wilder and Zany Scribe. I may publish the prompt after toying with it some more, but it started as a "choose a curse" sort of deal that I pointed toward a possession-with-chance-of-ego-death curse.
>>502780025Interesting premise, if not my cup of tea. I'd at least look at the prompt structure if you published it.

>>502408642Can someone give me a qrd on how to use memory/author's note / lorebook / ephemeral context effectively with Erato? I had a problem with Kayra where it felt like memory was worthless after enough text but I really feel with Erato that it never comes up at all or gets ignored. Sometimes I throw down immediately relevant info in brackets a paragraph before my generation if I feel frustrated but there must be a better way to do this.
>>502818242Depends on what in particular you're trying to do and how much other context you're working with. Like, if you've got a full context going and are expecting something from memory to come up unprompted without it showing up anywhere else in the context, you're probably not going to be lucky. There's no magic making memory more important than story paragraphs apart from it always being in context.

I'm still working on my "Pick a cursed item" prompt. Of course my horny ass needed to create a lore entry with a laundry list of fetishes and explicit instruction that curses will lead to sex so it would stop suggesting standard fantasy magic items all the time. Instead it does it half the time. I'm not sure how to get the lorebook entry to have more weight or at least appear closer to the end of the text instead of at the top under Memory. Interestingly enough it makes better cursed items with Golden Arrow than my preferred Wilder and Zany Scribe. Might just be my imagination though,

Perhaps a better genner than I can spoonfeed me help. I have an image that I'd like to try and change the artistic style of but I just can't seem to make any headway playing in krita or novelai's directors mode.>pic relatedI've been trying to figure out a way to make the image stylized much more like the older Pokemon anime artwork via lines and coloration. Such as listed on this page https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Johto . Is what I'm wanting to do even really possible?
>>502911465From what I know it should be theoretically possible, it just might take a lot of re-genning.
>>502911465I'd probably begin by using an external image editors to flatten out the colors a bit, then try running some low strength enhancement or image 2 image on it.

I haven't really kept up with this since about half a year after the great ai dungeon exodus. Anything new since then?
>>502921316At least you keep up with the hourly bumps.
>>502921316NAI has a new model out, it's pretty neat.
>>502921417Worth the sub? I assume you still have to buy the highest tier to have usable context
>>502921675No. It's slop like other llama finetune.
>>502921675It's currently only available to Opus anyway (since it's a 70B Llama tune), but they did expand context for Kayra for lower subs, so you can get the full 8K with Scroll for Kayra.I'm not sure if I would say "worth it" since I've been Opus since the start and have been generally happy with it, so my frame of reference is a bit different. I'm having fun with it, though there's a bit of a learning curve to having to use ATTG for a low context start (Kayra in my experience could start a story just fine from low context with nothing, but Erato has trouble doing well without the ATTG, but there's templates out there that make using it easy). I'm certainly not thinking about going back to Kayra, that's for sure, so I'd say it's at least worth a shot (depending on how easy it is for you to just drop 25 bucks to try something out)..
>>502922450>>502922467Thanks guys. I just looked at the subs and they have an image gen now? jewish/10 that they only tell you how much of their currency you get, and that you need it for advanced genning, but no mention of what costs how much. Any pointers on that?
>>502923874Opus gives you unlimited Image gens with certain parameters.
>>502923874If you're on Opus, you can gen infinite images at a resolution of 1024x1024 (or different aspect ratios of that), and then you most likely won't ever run out of the currency. I only ever gen at the free level and then use their "enhance" feature to upscale results I like.I think the only real uses for the currency on Opus are higher resolution or multiple images at once, so as long as you're using the free resolution level, you get to play with pretty much all the tools for free.If you aren't on Opus, it's pretty much pay as you go. I think a "normal" image costs 17 Anlas right now?Essentially, you can use Tablet and Scroll tiers for storytelling, but if you want to imagegen as well, Opus is pretty much the only way to go, but then you get a pretty good deal with the ability to throw out gen after gen after gen just rolling for good results.
>>502924460>use their "enhance" feature to upscaleWhat's the cost on that? And how long for the normal/enhance generations?
>>502924941>What's the cost on that?Your sanity. >And how long for the normal/enhance generations? The last normal generation, aka. not born with internet, is ~80 year old on average, I guess.
>>502925054Thanks anon, time to buy opus.
>>502924941>What's the cost on that?Between 8 and 28 depending on the magnitude of the enhancement (which essentially just means "how much should the AI change in the enhancing process"). I just stick to the lowest level, so in a month, I could enhance 1250 images before I run out of the currency. NAI also has some pretty good docs that describe their various features in more detail: https://docs.novelai.net/image/enhance.html>And how long for the normal/enhance generations?Below 5 seconds for the normal ones, a bit longer for the enhance in my experience.

>>502934992Depending on the teeth in question, they can do surprisingly well against branches too big to properly break. Great for rope and vines, too. But sharpening them is a pain in the ass, since you really have to get in on each bit individually. Some might say that due to how the serrations work, they don't need to be sharpened as often, though. But as far as I can tell, people have been debating it as far back as you can look.

>>502943493A.I. is a profound and thought-provoking science fiction film directed by Steven Spielberg, released in 2001. The film explores the concept of artificial intelligence through the story of David, a highly advanced robotic boy programmed to have the ability to love. Set in a future where global warming has flooded coastlines and humanity has embraced advanced robotics, the movie delves into the ethical, emotional, and philosophical implications of creating machines that can experience and express human-like emotions. In the film, David is adopted by a couple whose own son is in a state of suspended animation due to a rare disease. David's journey begins as a surrogate son but evolves into a quest for belonging and understanding as he is eventually abandoned by his adoptive mother. The film tackles the complex nature of artificial intelligence by raising questions about what it means to be human, the potential for machines to experience emotions, and the moral responsibilities that come with creating sentient beings.Through stunning visuals and a poignant narrative, "A.I. Artificial Intelligence" explores the boundaries of artificial intelligence, challenging viewers to consider the potential future of technology and its impact on our lives. The film stands as a seminal work in the exploration of artificial intelligence in cinema, blending elements of science fiction with profound emotional depth.

Spoilers on TSWSI need ideas on chapter titlesChapter 11: Mended Flesh>Toryg sews his own wound shut>Toryg goes absolutely crazy>Pereanth intervenesSeems fine since the previous one was 'Sunburnt Flesh'. It could be 'Moontouched Flesh' for that extra foreshadowing but it might too on the nose. Also that title might be more apt for future chapters.Chapter 12: His Flock>Toryg ventures outside>Showcase crow intelligence>Crows follow himI'm aiming for something with weight like 'apostles' but 'His Flock' is the closest thing my brain can come up with.Chapter 13: Planting Life>Toryg returns to intersection>Toryg finds sunburnt>Show sunburnt 'respecting' the bodies>Pereanth confirms Sunburnts killed by Toryg really are dead due to her shenanigansI know there is a better title for this. It lacks the oomph of the others. 'Sunburnt Flesh' is a terrific chapter title in my opinion. This isn't. 'Sowing Death' is starting to be a good idea but that might be me coping.

Anyway to stop Erato from becoming repetitive on longer stories? It seems to fall into loops.
>>503037732>Anyway
>>503023875Depends. What sort of person are they? Where do you want to set the story? How do you want to introduce characters? Are they following or rebelling the popular image of them, or is this a twist on normal formulas? Is sex involved, and if so, is it meant to feel heretical, and in what way? (Being deep in the Virtue of Love might feel strange for a succubus, after all.)Lots of questions, but the most important ones are who they are as a character, and that will fold what they are in quite nicely.
>>503037732I mean, depends on your definition of longer, but regardless of model or context length, sometimes you have to take the story in hand and give it some fresh prose to lead it in a slightly new direction. Remember that you're the one with a brain that can see meaning and words and sentences and plot; even one fresh sentence can send the story off from similar sentences of similar situations.

None of this was planned, but I guess going back to the same well can function as a sort of convenient worldbuilding.I haven't written these very specific characters named Sean and Cade before, but Reid and Lucian from "Costume Party Cutie" are also a salesperson and programmer couple that works at SilverCorp, so that's probably who you were thinking of.
