Got the shotgun working with multiple round types, got recoil set up on a couple round types, mag tube fully functions properly now and lastly spent shells ejected are colored the same as the round fired. Progress is occurring. The vibe continues to rise.

Yeah the chest only takes up 1/3 of the length of the torso (roughly depending on your proportions but this is a very david-esque physique so classical twink proportions)
The way I think about it is that each pectoral is about a head length into the shoulder.
Also his ribs mixed into his laterals
also the rear leg is attached directly to his tail bone for some reason.
Just some minor issues, pretty common actually especially the chest thing.

I dunno I would classify anything unfair that defines it's own orders that lesser beings i.e. mortals need to conform to as roughly divine, or at least divine elemental.
For instance the passage of time.
You can have agent who propagate these orders like angels.
And horror is some emotional response this that causes mental anguish in the one experiencing it. Like the ego is the only thing we truly possess and can call ours, but we realize we have no external freedoms or limited and so all we can do is punish ourselves in response by creating emotions of fear, dread, depression, etc.
And the complimentary part is that the divine doesn't care, it doesn't listen, it just writes the orders. It's an indifferent beast.
And so the horror is how a change in regularity perturbs the perceived system leading to a new perception and that interval of change could be called horror.
And so I'm constructing my world with some archetypes I think could make a good story. So like take some primeval force like transmutation, changing something, breaking it apart and altering it's elemental forms. This is the same process in eating, so devouring is a word I'm going to write down. Consumption and utilization.
The divine horror will be atmospheric, but you'll interact with the agents of the divine orders. They'll be angels, devils, beasts, men, etc. Conformed beings of varying power, though tangible to a player's perception to allow enough information to be transferred to perturb the player. Revealing the alchemical works of the own player, consuming their own psyche. They represent light in the grim dark, being absorbed by cold shadows and dark winds.
Because the oldest divine battle has always been the violent binary mixture of light versus dark, the tear from existence and nonexistence, leading to an explosive dance. Revealing that there is a god and he doesn't care about you at all and thus is equally loving is horror.
But also silly circus stuff.

Actually I was inspired by the movie Santa Sangre, you should really watch it. It's a brilliant work. And so the reason why we're connect is because alchemy and religion are all part of natural thought, they've been developed for thousands of years lending into to philosophy, art, literature, and science.

I studied for four years in college, got a math BS with honors and awards. I had the intention of going to graduate school but the financial situation caused most schools to lose funding and I can't afford graduate school so I had to drop out.
Thought I could get something semi mathy... NOPE lol and all internships are over the summer and it turns out boomer logic isn't real you can't just call every insurance firm and beg for an internship.
I applied to every minimum wage job within a 10 miles radius from grocery store to retail... today I just found out that officially, I did the count, every grocery store that is reasonably close to me thought I wasn't qualified for menial labor.
Eventually I'll never be able to apply to graduate school again because I'll have no one to recommend me.
I don't know what kind of curse god put on me... but I am his special most despised creation.
Then my mom told me she's in credit card debt and we'll lose everything if I don't get a job. Then my brother had to drop out of college... but get this. He got a job instantly as a life guard... he's only been back a month and he already has a new girlfriend.
These have been the worst 4 months of my life... I fucking wish I had a wage cuck job. My mom saw me drawing for my game and got so mad she took my laptop. Btw we tried to sell the house about 200k below appraisal so we could just move somewhere cheaper like a condo and the fucking indian that gave us an offer wasted almost a whole month just to back out.

1. Is the built-in pause good enough? I've noticed some problems with it launching the player mid-jump even when the jump button was released, but I figured that wouldn't matter as much with enemies and I could do less work to get around those edge cases.
2. If the pause function works, is there a way to have the object still function in some ways? I wanted the object to have its own internal counter so it could unfreeze itself for simplicity, but that naturally isn't working. By very qualified I mean that being a dev in general is high complexity work. People don't just knock on a company's door and get hired as a programmer (not the average Brazilian, that's for sure) Then again, making videogames is actually pretty troublesome, as not only you have to do a bunch of programming in a very limited amount of off-time, but also do art, music, wordbuilding, game design, etc. In my day to day I usually just create a bunch of APIs and try to fit square pegs into round holes. Currently, they decide whether to stay on their current island, or leave the island based on how much they've explored of the island and it's size, and then pick a random spot in the targeted island to walk in a straight line. Every map chunk has a set song that starts playing when you enter it. But there are some chunks that have the same song, right? So it checks if the songs are identical, and if so, it just keeps playing the song instead of restarting it.

Continually adding modding tools. The skeletons in this are made entirely with said modding tools. You can make things interact with the player in lots of ways. Timers, spawners, movers, things to make critters roam around. Just added this tag system. You can selectively add tags to players so you can filter them out for other effects. In this example you can only kill the big skeleton if you have already acquired 10 skeleton tags. You can effectively create your own collectibles this way, like keys. You can hide tags from the player or show them on screen like pic related bottom left. Sorta getting a LittleBigPlanet vibe from the tools so far; a bit more technical though

The first song has horrible mixing, rework the levels.
You overuse delay which bleeds the notes together creating a discordant effect.
Second song has both of these problems but to a lesser degree.

Experiment with dropping more tracks out of the song to create more dynamics. Then add them back in as part of a build up. Play with low and high pass filters, they really help with making music dynamic.
