My first time playing and I'm just starting act 4. Why the act 3 hate? I didn't think it was that bad. A few things I didn't like. Running around on the street freely with Dark Eldar just standing there ignoring you seemed a bit weird. And some parts with the good doctor felt weird and a bit rail roady. You can't fight him there, but you can later in the spire? If you free Ulfar, you can take him to go talk to him and there's no interaction at all?The place oozed dark atmosphere and had some of the best fights in the game so far. I was breezing through most of the game and actually died on the last fight and had to do it a second time. Only playing on daring, though.

Saved up enough septims finally for 2 spellbooks, Fury and Oakflesh. Each are around 300, and whatever economy mods I have make that really painful. Most random crap if it's worth anything is worth 1-5, some bandit armor that says value 60, the Riverwood Trader guy will give me like 8 for it. But, with my new friend Sven who's decided to just follow me around forever, we cleared out a nearby mine and are slowly preparing to climb up to Bleak Falls Barrow. I think today's the day. Provisions, a cooking pot, firewood, and a tent. We'll bring along a woodcutter's axe in case we need to spend more than one night on the frigid mountainside. We have to be careful with what we bring, the Realistic Carrying mod is harsh, but fair. Also I contracted Stomach Rot from some dirty water which has progressively gotten worse, but I'm hesitant to use my only Cure Disease potion (which I believe will only increase my resistance anyhow, not necessarily outright cure it). But on the other hand, if not now, then when?
