I'm going through Metro Redux right now and enjoying it more than I should. It was made by the original Stalker staff and it shows. So far more focused into survival and brethren than anomalies and faction warring. The game feels pretty linear but small areas for exploration, ala Half-Life.Something I really enjoyed is how the game is focused into the story telling. This is why I hate open worlds, the exploration and fetch questing for the shake of it. You can get really immersed in Metro because they are usually some human being talking to you, so it doesn't feel like a dungeon crawler with guns.
i want the game to be good but i think i'm just going to wait for now.
