I actually missed 2 optional stages so although it says I finished stage 19 it should actually be stage 21 I think. Next stage is the big showdown against Molech.

I won't say it doesn't feel like a rug pull on the chaos end but at the same time you get a law vs chaos question where you're asked what you want to do when you get to the throne and choose betweeen "re-create the world" or "kill Tiamat" and killing Tiamat is actually the chaos point answer.

IV is also bogged down by worst nostalgia bait than V. Where in V, it's a sequel game s the Nocturne wank has a point, IV's references are more like walking through a gallery of SMT's greatest hits. Metaphor also did the exact same thing and it's just as stupid. Story wise, IV is very basic and it has a generic cast that are purely their alignments and nothing else. People say the same thing about V but it's just not true, more so now because of VV. Your rep on CoC is two characters with two different objectives that overlap by the end and they both either show why they think the way they do or progressively get there. Walter and Johnathan first introduce themselves to you as law man and chaos man with the dream sequence. You know where they are going and everything they say amounts to it. Tao and Yoko are like this too but instead of purely responding how you expect, they end up doubting each other and even finding common ground in some arguments. Where IV shines is it's lore building but even a lot of that wouldn't be as good as it is without outside material like the art book and interviews that show you the work that went into it. V's world is much more interesting along with the cast but suffers from a lack of world and character building. The world building there is relies on myth and piecing things together. Without interviews you could argue seeing things in the plot is pure speculation while IV has a lot of dev commentary to back up whatever you might be speculating. So it's easy to get wrapped up in thinking IV having more dialog heavy quests makes it better, but quantity isn't quality.
