That's also prpbably why they seem so cheap and rushed, not to mention that college students were part of their main audience, so them trying to appeal to older demographics with the NC makes sense. Yarnaby is connected to Sawyer, so the more we know about him, the more we know about Yarnaby. >>502775350 has the best explaination for the lack of pianosaurus information atm. Also Sawyer's probably gonna be another big bad like the prototype it seems, so learning about him is more important than learning about the toys in this chapter imho.
