I'm a person who wants explore every nook and cranny of every dungeon so maybe this is an unpopular opinion but I like the linearity of the other dungeons in Skyrim. I don't enjoy how spread out the dwarven ruins are. I would like them more if they had functional maps but they're hardly readable especially on a tiny screen like the switch. The multi level dungeons are the worse because multiple levels are merged onto a 2D map and sometimes I'll be looking for a quest marker on the wrong level. It's all just very confusing to me. This combined with the fact they there’s so much heavy loot in them that, even when I bring a mule/follower, I keep having to go alllll the way out, store the loot, then go alllll the way back in to where I was, and repeat what feels like 10 times per ruin. So it can take like all day to clear just one ruin.
