I've just came back after a 10 month break from the game and all my addon settings are completely fucked on classic. Cata and Retail seem to be unaffected by it, but everything on SoD / HC has been reverted to default. I updated the addons to reconfigure them manually from zero but 90% of my addons are still showing as out of date in game and some completely don't work even if I try loading them such as Dominos so I cant even configure that.Any advice?

Very few people will be AOE farming on a busy server. It's only effective in dungeons and when you're ahead of the curve.

I'm kinda interested in coming back for the new servers since I only played phase 1 of the 2019 launch (I had played a lot of private servers before that so I had my fill for the time). What do you think the experience will be like on the PvE servers? I've only ever done PvP ones before but I'm an old man with a job now so I'll probably just be playing casually.
