This is not a shipping post. I'd just like to clear up a little misconception about Trip's character. Trip was never forced to help Eggman and Fang, she did so willingly. The website described her as "enlisted," not "coerced." I get how her first meeting with Fang looks in the comic, but keep in mind Trip is very impressed and infatuated with guys that at least pretend to be cool and competent, as the new comic shows, and she's willing to follow people blindly, especially under the promise of becoming more competent herself, which Fang was helping her with. She probably thought it would be exciting to work with them, not quite realizing what she was getting into or just how bad they really are. That's also why she was genuinely nice to them, if she was a captive used as slave labor she wouldn't be quite so eager to make friends, enjoy moments with them, and try to be a good teammate.She very easily could have left them and hidden her island's treasures at almost any time. She knew the terrain and she wasn't in chains or anything, most of the time they had their guard down around her, and they often stopped looking her way.
