I like the Sonic movies. I like seeing Sonic slowly grow from a scared, traumatized kid, to the powerful hero known the world over. I'm not really worried about it being accurate to the games. If you watch it as it's own thing, it's a pretty cute, sweet story.

In the former it seems like everyone knows he made them but don't seem to care, and in the latter he had the whole system operated so that nobody knew he was behind it until his plan was already in action. Kinda reminds me of a larger scale version of a child running a lemonade stand to buy something they want which is really fitting for his character.
