I don't think it was dementia but more so obsessive compulsiveness, like biting on tissues. She was telling Grampa to wake up in the hospital before they called it. >>503037574>>503038705I also worked at an adult mental injury rehab, and like half of the patients are competent, but would rather hide away or not do the effort to be rehabilitated. They always need somebody to be with them, and all the work they do is for confidence building, as I'm sure they are learning new trivia every day, and making things to be functional. The moment they graduate, they are most likely alone again and won't be able to see the next thing that cares about them, because it's not themselves that were put there in the first place; it was their immediate family that don't want to deal with it. The end result is, it all comes down to them if they want to leave. I can't say for the ones that did suffer severe brain injuries that have disabled them.I think it's nice the writers are putting in all the angles in this story, but it's just a combination of the best result related to mental trauma. In the end Grave won't be alone for another 100 years.
