Armor gear can have Strength on it. You can have upwards of 300 more Life on an armor character just by virtue of having Strength on your gear. This is in addition to Strength being the attribute requirement for your gear, meaning you'll often have an additional 2-300 Life from that. It's not remotely strange for a pure armor character to have 20-30% more Life than a pure evasion character.

yeah i dunno what i'm doing, i played all night tonight farming t12-t14 maps, juiced with breach the best i could, with 120 MF on my character and i saw one divine the whole night, and probably just barely broke even on raw exalts. i'm the type that likes to sit down and farm consistent stuff like stacked decks, harvest juice, and t17 maps but it feels like there's nothing like that here. so every rare you kill that doesn't drop a divine is actually a waste of time. i'm still 120 splinters off trying the breach boss for the first time too even though i'll probably just die to him anyways

Flames of Chayula is such a weird fucking ascendancy node. Why does each purple flame have their separate timer? That completely neglects the entire point of you going out of your way to get those nodes, to get a buff. Upgrading items is way worse since you can easily overcap a resistance because you had runes on it before a drop or purchase and have no way to fix it without investing more currency which is the absolute worst when you hit the point that upgrades cost divs. If you don't have dire need of a rune you're better off avoiding marginal upgrades and holding slots for future considerations. You have a much harder time pivoting your layers if you decide to optimize or chance your build. It's so fucking dumb. I'm overcapped on every ele res right now and my chest piece has two all ele runes that I could get way more survivability out of by changing them to iron runes.
