But when you compare it to older titles where progression was slower and there were more monsters, it just doesn’t feel like Monster Hunter anymore. It feels more like a hack-and-slash game.And don’t even get me started on the jeet coding, it’s a mess. The art direction is also questionable. Everything looks dark and washed-out, but if you download mods or tools, the visuals improve drastically. Capcom just doesn’t seem interested in fixing it themselves.Post-game content is another letdown. The title update monsters are fun, but they’re over quickly. For comparison, think of MH1 and Tri. Even though those games had fewer monsters than Wilds, the progression was slower, the hunting was more rewarding, and the weapons were better balanced. Monsters were tougher, and you actually had to work for your rewards. It made the repetitive hunting enjoyable because it felt earned.In Wilds, you breeze through everything too quickly, and by the time you’ve completed it, you’re done.
