Need some advice on Shaman tanking on Turtle Wow. Is it worth going deep Enhancement? Is Bloodlust worth getting? Do Stormstrike and Lightning Strike use the same cooldown? Which is worth using?
Twow made me realize I really like the classic levelling way more than any other version of the game. It also made me understand the power of having an actually full server and being surrounded by people, rather than just seeing people in the main town and then never again.BUTI fucking want MORE races, gimme draenei, gimme nightborne, gimme naga, gimme worgen. I want more fucking cosmetic cool armors and neat shields and slutmogs and hoods and shoulders and shit.But its like every server that actually is willing to add a bunch of customization and dressup is always some form of 7x+ slop with flying mounts and a dead world since everyone just chainqueues dungeons to hit cap. Meanwhile Epoch and Turtle are straight up saying there will be no funny goats or dogs in my life and even though they area adding some cosmetics it doesn't seem like it's more than like a raid set or something. Making tanking active and threat work is harder than just giving tanks more DPS, because damage x multiplier = threat. Also, threat is either an explicit mob mechanic or a detriment to fluidity for the rest of the party. Blizz has tended over time to focus more on active mitigation and positioning than on threat as a tank mechanic.

I've begun my journey now. I've decided to finally venture forth out from the Barrens and Mulgore in search of adventure and glory - and to better my understanding of the world that I am in, Anons. I communed with the earth on behalf of Sage Ravenfeather and the Earthen Elemental gave me a good lesson. It asked me nothing more than to appreciate the earth which I stand on. So I asked myself, Anons - what did he mean by this? I took a moment and stopped and looked around myself. The plains of Mulgore is not only beautiful, it is awestriking. The world which we found ourselves in, the world which we've all fallen in love with has been practically handcrafted to perfection. I took a deep breath and the music of the tauren rang into my ears. In that moment I truly did appreciate all the effort which was taken to mold this earth. What do you think, Anons? Is there a place which you have ever been captivated by? When I venture yonder the borders of Mulgore I'll try to keep this thought in my mind. I will continue posting about my journey and my findings should Anons enjoy it, I am looking forward to learning more about Thrall's Horde, and my place in it.

Considering how many anons are raidlogging/burned out on Turtle, I'm honestly toying with the idea of making anon guild on Netherwing. >>521492324If you have never played mop before I suggest not rolling a tank since they play very differently than previous expansions. I would say warlock/shaman are very good throughout the expansion, warriors are also top tier dps through the entire thing if you want melee. Monks are good too but hard to play, all 3 specs can be good. Hunter/Rogues are decent but get worse as the expansion progresses. Druid is good too for healing and tanking and boomies become good in SOO. I don't really know about dk, no one seems to play it so I doubt It's that good. Disco priests are good and fun, shadow is also good but difficult. Mage is similar to Hunter although they get pretty good in SOO as well since you finally get enough crit for fire. So pretty much everything except pala and dk (honestly not sure about dk since I just never see anyone play it I think UH might be good).
