I've just finished Trails to Azure, and it's hard to put my thoughts into words just yet.Most importantly and first and foremost, however, look at that slutty outfit KeA is wearing in the final CG. A belt choker and visible bra straps? Really now, Llyod? Is that how you're going to raise your girl?In other news, Rixia gets full marks for that delicious tummy and those bare legs. Very nice and casually slutty.I'm kind of disappointed that, after two full games of Crossbell, there's no celebration upon returning from the Azure Tree. I wish I could meet all of my favorite NPCs again one last time and get some closure on their various stories. Instead I'm left with the passing remark that "Crossbell will be occupied by Erebonia for the following two years", and that's about it for an ending. No Rixia x Ilya reunion, no follow-up on Sergei's and Commander Baelz' former relationship, no KeA, Shizuku and Arios reunion. I'll never find out if Miner Marlow made a pass on that grumpy tsundere waitress in Mainz Mining Town, how the Saber Vipers are doing after losing their leader, what's up with that Juna NPC who occasionally showed up in the police academy, the list goes on and on and I just wish there'd be a sort of celebratory final episode like FC's Queen's birthday festival or SC's banquet on top of Grancel castle. There're certain events I deserve to witness after pouring over 200 hours into these games.

They did eventually want to get to 3rd and Crossbell, but Falcom wanted CS1 released as soon as possible to cash in on the Vita market and bring in a new audience to Trails. They basically gave XSeed an ultimatum: either localize CS1 and CS2, or we're giving the license to someone else. XSeed decided to go for the former, skipping 3rd and Crossbell and going straight to CS1.
To conclude my litte rant, who is everyone's favorite Crossbell NPC, and why is it Shanshan?Honorable mention for Luka, but I feel like she doesn't progress enough to take the top. Had she gotten a resolution to her romantic drama with Marlow, things might've looked differently.

Power levels are dogshit in kiseki. Lloyd is probably the worst case of this, sometimes he jobs like crazy and sometimes he wins through the shounen deus ex machina power bullshit. Kevin was pretty consistent throughout sky, but Kai fucked him over.Rean got a huge spike in power from cs4 to hajimari, before that he was a jobber who needed to be bailed by his former classmates. Rufus is consistent i guess. Van was kinda consistent in kuro 1,but in kuro 2 falcom decided to drop a digit in his iq and conveniently remove his sense of smell.
