GGG balancing is the classic example of survivorship bias. How many people complain about Acolyte o Chayula being bad this patch? Practically no one. How many people play Acolyte of Chayula? Again, practically no one.There is a probably-a-bug that prevents mana leech from restoring ES if mana is full, which it nearly always is. It hasn't been addressed or acknowledged so far. I've also only seen one person actually complaining about it.Whirling assault is a hillariously bad skill suffering from so many issues it's unbelievable. It received no buffs this patch, or any other patches since 0.1 release.Wind blast has a recommended support (impact shockwave) which requires the supported skill to be a strike, but it's missing the strike tag. The problem existed since day one of 0.1 and has neither been acknoledged nor fixed. I've also didn't see anyone complaining about it.People started to complain less about parry+disengage after Cull the Weak was introduced. As a result, i'm not hopeful it'll ever be fixed.My point is, GGG does react to feedback and it's great, but they don't pay enough attention to "rare feedback". And the chances are, it's this rare feedback that deserves immediate attention. If there are a lot of complaints about a certain skill, it's because a lot of people use it. But if there's been just one or two complaints, it's because people avoid it like a plague. Both probably need attention, but the latter deserves more of it.I'm not trying to badmouth the developers here or anything, just bring attention to the problem maybe? Because if this persists we'll end up having less and less viable options to make our builds with.

I honestly dont get the point of demon form any more for infernalist. Half the shit wants you to run minions, which means you lose out on the +5 skill from scepter, plus the spirit. You lose out on crit from your weapon which means the +50% bonus crit damage isnt that goodinfernal dog is a minion its just... weird. Its like an early game skill, that also requires you to build very specifically for it (hp regen and max hp) with very little benefit and even less synergy with the rest of the ascension.

Has anyone fought the mockery of faith boss on a unique map yet? I just got annihilated by him 3 times in a row and lost the last 3 hours of xp gains. He locks you in place with a bone circle that stays up for at least 10 seconds, has a ice shard aura constantly pelting you, drops giant anchors from the sky, while using his sword attack and spraying you with fire. There’s zero way to beat this boss without tanking all that shit for 10 FUCKING SECONDS I know it’s randomized but fuck that’s an impossible combination. I took a video but idk how to put it on here.

>>521526739the idols arent that bad to get started but pushing them past 1-2 mods is pretty obnoxious because the mods are so low weightedfor the vessel part you really need 4 conqueror idols with the x chance to spawn y exiles and then a bunch of minor idols that give the boss 2 exile bodyguards. thats why toxic sewer is the place to farm the blood filled vessels, its one of the few maps where the boss spawns together with other mobs so you can get some really huge ones like pic related. ideally you would also have the guaranteed 4 ritual altars on one of them and chance for exiles to have an additional reward on 2 so it adds up to 100. the reward makes them appear on the minimap which makes it super easy to tell how many exiles are on a single ritual so you can decide if its worth using a vessel on. for the t17 setup, you of course want as much explicit as possible and also guaranteed 4 rituals on one of the conqueror idols, ideally together with explicit. the cancerous part is the 1x3s where you want explicit + pack size with fortune favors the brave to really ramp up the juice and then on top of that you can also have rarity and quant on the 1x3s for free loot.

So i went and bought a fat ES gem with recharge delay reduction and stuck in in the Phylactery instead. Then I had no issues whatsoever. You can just get a gem for more damage, or shield, or both, but they get pricy.>Reach act 3>Kill Ingaduk>get more Spirit>Convalescence>Clear the trial>Eldritch Empowerment. Taking Eternal Life literally has no downsides, but early on I'd rather take more damage and level faster.
