I've played very little of any Sonic racing games. The only kart racer I ever played extensively was Mario Kart Wii. CrossWorlds gameplay feels low budget and janky as hell by comparison. I feel like the game is fine if you do regular stuff but the moment you do anything irregular it gets really fucky. Collision restitution is jittery. Drifting near or bumping into a wall doesn't feel right at all. Drifting in general feels like ass, I can't corner nearly as hard as I feel like I should. The handling on the flight and water feels like dogshit.
