What jobs would the Eggbosses have if they were in IDW?
The continuity of some of the dialogue is weird. Espio references fighting Zazz in the Metal Virus arc but Silver is just hearing about Jet for the first time when they also met in the Metal Virus arc. Shadow also barely knows the Chaotix when he's met them in at least three games before.

So originally the ShtH ending scene makes sense as "I'm not going to live by the legacy of the person I thought I was" aspect, but with the last minute retcon it becomes nonsense that suggests Shadow is just gonna have amnesia forever now for no particular reason.

While we're talking Shadouge- I always naively interpreted this line as "Rouge is frustrated after carrying Shadow and is saying he's hot but he's a pain in the ass", but I realized on replay recently that it might actually be an awkward translation of her essentially saying "he doesn't look like he's in bad condition even though he won't wake up" (because Shadow is in an unresponsive state while having flashbacks to Emerl on the ARK). Does anyone know if the original Japanese clears this up at all?This game was my first exposure to Shadow, Rouge, and Gamma as a kid which was slightly confusing.

For every game post Shadow's game Maria barely came up, but now she's super important to the point she's the only reason why Shadow wakes up at night. I don’t get what all of you agenda posters are about (that includes you too Krack), it’s like both sides of an extreme and no one can see the obvious middle point. I would not say in any capacity that they’ve made Maria his whole thing “again” (or at all really) because anything with him failed, but rather it was necessity to reintroduce him to the public after almost a decade and a half of him being nonexistent. She exists only to chase Mr. Sonic and games like Sonic Heroes, Sonic Battle, and Sonic Rush illuminate this very clearly.This leads me to my current preference. A relationship between Mr. Tails and Ms. Cream is simply more compelling. It allows both characters to blossom and develop outside of Mr. Sonic's shadow.
