I'm experiencing some rigging issues. I have a base model that comes pre rigged to armature: great. I add some clothes, fit them, auto weight, rigging looks good. However, the model comes with the feet positioned weird for some custom shoes. So, I unparent the model from the armature, delete vertex groups/modifiers, sculpt the feet to be normal,, and re-auto weight the body mesh. Looks, good rigged fine. But whenever I try to rig clothes to the armature now, nothing works. Auto weights, weight painting- nothing happens and the clothes refuse to link to the skeleton. It seems to simply be caused by something in the process of de-parenting and re-parenting the body mesh to the armature. Anyone have any idea what's going on here?

Okay, so I got mine.It's just okay. I wouldn't try to sell it to someone. There's more about it I dislike more than I like. It's not as bad as the haters said it would be but not as good as I hoped it would be.At the least my product worked out of the box. No dead pixels or issues aside from GPU lol AMD. Mic is on level with the index. Audio strap audio is only one step below the Index and the Index is peak so I didn't even really notice the downgrade since I'm not much of an audiophile.Really bad glare on the lenses that I can only describe as visual tinnitus. Not so obvious when you're in game and doing stuff but if you look at something dark for a second or so you notice it again.Really warm orange tint I'm not liking so far but I really overly prefer colder displays so maybe I'll just get used to it. I am once again seeking the wisdom of this thread. This seems like such a simple problem but I kind of at a loss for how to best do this. Model comes pre-rigged with feet positioned to fit some angled shoes. I want to make her feet flat so she can be barefoot or wear sandals. I do not want to re-rig the model since whatever weight painting comes with the model is infinitely better than anything I can get automatically, which fucks up everything else. They know udonsharp and vrchat API pretty well these days. More generally, vrchat prefabs with udonsharp is essentially unity programming, so most of the beginner "make the cube rotate" type unity tutorials will still help. I dunno of any particularly good vrchat/udonsharp-specific tutorials.
