Thing about movie 4 is that all the movies very loosely follow a game right? Sonic movie 1 is sonic 1 very basic setup stop the eggman plot where we learn about the eggman right, sonic movie 2 is clearly sonic 3, Eggman tricks nipples into fighting against sonic easy peasey. Sonic movie 3 is sonic adventure 2 shadow showdown. Since the next movie involves Amy and Metal sonic it's either going backwards to Sonic CD (less likely) or going on ahead to Sonic Heros, if it's the former cream obviously won't show up she had nothing to do with that BUT if it's the latter she miiiight show up, especially since the movies feel really similar to X In which case, if they wanna keep Amy in the bestie cuck box, gives her a reason to be there but not be looking for sonic, she could just be helping cream find her mom. Its a long shot but cream is the next obvious inclusion after Amy considering the flow of the movies.
