>>541274624It's not that his ult is crazy good is that EVERYTHING on his kit has been either broken as fuck or extremely good, he rarely has any downsides.He has massive burst damage, has CC, has self heal, has sustained damage, has a good enough gun (used to be strong as fuck too), best mobility in the game, does shitload of damage, is not really squishy, decent in lane (also used to be broken as fuck there), best roamer in the game, best defender in the game, amazing ganker, slippery as fuck, almost impossible to stop once he's ahead, etc.Since he's so well rounded that also means that he gets to exploit a lot of item changes to their absolute fullest which is one of the big reasons why he keeps getting nerfs yet is always one of the best heroes in the game.This also applies to the map itself as according to Yoshi they've literally removed/changed things from the map solely because of the way Lash used it in ways they didn't think would be that impactful.And before the Lash nerds jump at me, yes this has changed over time/patches and a lot of his strengths have been nerfed quite hard but this has been Lash entire history so far, Lash gets nerfed constantly yet always performs well and eventually needs nerfs again.Another example of this is Ivy, she does everything and almost excels at everything yet Ivy players always say she's doomed because she got a couple nerfs, one month later she's back and tearing the game a new asshole somehow.Lash has been so insanely strong and well rounded that he basically became the standard for characters like Dynamo that have similarly massive impact ults but they were mostly just that, as a result he got a massively buffed kinetic pulse for example.Nerfing ult means they'd need to add back some power on his gun which would make him a laning nightmare again or make him do even more damage without the ult so he would be even better for brools and ganking, effectively just running in circles.
I guess at the end of the day my point is that I'd prefer some start from scratch Placement Matches when the game goes live again, the "Start from Bronze 3" Marvel Rivals route where you're forced to climb climb climb really feels like it sucks

This game is a long, long way from being balanced man. I played what felt like the most hopeless game I've done in a long time where my team wasn't even playing poorly, just the insane team comp and plays from the enemy were unstoppable. They created a really cool character when they made Doorman but I genuinely think there isn't a single thing you can do to fight him on even terms if the Doorman player is cracked, it's just pointless. Impossible to kill him and he just does infinite damage whether he's playing gun or spirit.
