Even in ideal conditions her damage is worse than Amiya s2 while suffering from the same damage splitting random targetting so if you need to clear two waves of 2-3 chunky enemies you might get vibe checked and leak.

You can splitbox an enemy across two of the tiles to hit them with both tornadoes but most of the time you can't get perpendicular deployable tiles where you can splitbox or late deploy your blocker to position the enemy across both tiles. Even when you do, you're likely getting shot in the face, out of range of medics during mapwide enemy aoe/red mist, etc. Very rarely there's an enemy that's 3 tiles wide like Sami, Big sad lock, prts, sui, etc. but most of the time they have retard res so what the fuck. Since s3 uses up to 420% damage scale across 1-3 tornadoes she can run away with speed and damage buffs pretty hard. If being able to splitbox the enemy wasn't enough you also want to be 3-4 tiles away or your damage tanks. Then most content is designed around 2+1 tile ranges so there's very rarely anything for the range extension to do. That still isn't enough though, HG locked a huge amount of your damage behind being able to levitate the enemy. Now since not being able to get the distance, the levitate, or both is the norm she is ultimately a subpar caster whose damage is getting mogged by Amiya, Rockrock, etc, worse range uptime than Marcille/Logos. When you can get ideal conditions though, Ho'ol is dealing over twice the old caster damage baseline and doing so while retarding the enemy's damage with the frequent interrupts. Real shame anyone is already overkilling the enemy so there isn't a functional difference though So if you enjoy a gimmicky clown that doesn't work most of the time but feels good when she does, Hole's your gal and your pal.
