Additionally, the bonuses you get for ascensions in this game are largely unique to each girl, while in Reco, memoria were interchangeable. That meant that having only 2 slots wasn't as punishing as you could put memoria on other girls in your party. The things unique to each girl was stuff you had no matters the slots (magia/doppel, connect, SE gird), with the exception of a handful that had boosted EX abilities from having 4 slots.And honestly, let's not discount the massive inflation of gems costs for everything. A 10 roll in magireco was 300 stones and you would regularly get 1-10 gems from nodes. And since a 10 roll was only 300, those could add up fairly quickly. In Exedra meanwhile, a 10 roll is 3,000 gens and you are still getting like 10 gems per node and there are way less quests that give you them. But even if you were getting the same number proportionally, the numbers being so big are psychologically intimidating and make everything feel worse.

This game really gives you a lot of free pulls and guaranteed girls. Right now I have 8 guaranteed 5* , but I'm not using them because I'm afraid of A6+, there just aren't many girls in the pool yet. It's so generous that I sometimes wonder how it makes money at all, and the answer, of course, is low rates for the banner girls and a low gems income. So, you get a lot of girls in general, which will allow you to play freely and always have something to develop, but if you want a specific girl more than once every 2 months, you will have to pay. And that's the whole point of gacha- as honest as this kind of thing can be.
I love Magia Exedra. I missed out on Magia Record. The new Crescent Memoria event is really good.

I saw some whales complain that the game is more focused on dolphins than whales. After you A5 all the girls and max out their specials, there's not much left to spend money on. One whale had like 50k legacy medals that they couldn't do anything with. I guess I'm a dolphin because I buy all the limited time packs but I rarely buy standard Magica Stone packs. I'm enjoying the game and every time I get a 5-star is still good even if duped because I need books from the legacy medals still.

Walpy's attacks follow a set script, so there's a cheat sheet you can follow to both help you keep track of even/uneven turns, but also what attacks are coming up. Use that to plan ahead and help with survival. 3-star Hazuki is the real MVP for getting rid of shields/barriers. Took 50+ turns.

Is 15% crit chance really going to perform better than 180 attack on the Crystalis? I see speed crit chance and crit damage being recommended for attackers, but it doesn't feel necessary, especially on Madokami, she's not missing crits. Is this cope just for people who don't have Tsuruno?
