I think free loadouts should be unlimited and the course of action to counterbalance is either be given a grey shield that can be replaced mid match that gives some reduction below green maybe 20-30% and minus a utility or two. Or buff blue/purple shield to either reduce the movement penalty and or increase the number of bullets it can reduce damage on. Blue and purple weapons need a buff and venator reduced a notch to bring it down. Im unsure about the osprey.

i don't think the maps are designed to handle as many players embark are putting in but i think it's a server scaling issue. i think it must be cheaper to allow more players access to a node than it is to spin up more nodes to handle the same amount of players. this is really apparent with stella montis.

I think they should make map lobbies a little smaller, but increase Arc presence. Perhaps moreso for Stella Montis. I don't really think they can ultimately solve the spawning issue otherwise for that place.But in general I think this would improve the game a bit. If not smaller lobby sizes for the exterior maps, than AT LEAST the Arc presence, increased alertness and reinforcement threat too.

on top of all the known and solved solutions like rattler1 etc, shitter ratting can also disappear when they make PVE more rewarding, make big arc loot exclusive guns and augments that work very well in PVP, i dont think any of the purple guns require leaper/bombardier/bastion/rocketeer parts? just the bench. extremely easy solution would also be to give blue/purple combat augments an AOE spike that triggers on hit, or a showstopper one, ofcourse with a big cooldown. the point is to reduce the cancer of being shot in the back while shooting at a big PVE, you can easily make that suicide to do with the slightest effort. lots of good gear should really be gatekept through PVE, preferably solo PVE. maybe they should even make a solo arena gamemode with leaderboards like trials and exclusive cosmetics.

After putting 45 hours into the game over 6 days I think I have to give it a bad review. The only enjoyable part of the game is the proximity chat and tense social interactions of solos. The quests all suck and there's nothing to do in this unreal engine walking simulator. The guns all suck and the ARC are arbitrarily tanky, you shoot at them from a building with a ferro 40 times until killing one. Great gameplay. The quests revolve around finding an arbitrary pebble in a different location than described.

Every single fucking round I want to do PvP, and either I find good loot so I get too scared, or someone starts being friendly so I feel like an asshole for openning fire. How do you cross the mental PvP barrier? OI vowed to at least blast everyone I meet in a loot location, then they end up spotting me, friendly'ing and help me kill arcs. I was doing the quest at the control tower today, and I managed to get onto the balcony outside of the locked room at the top. I guess there's no other way into locked rooms, than using a key, is there? Otherwise it'd become common knowledge and there would be no use for the keys.

The high loot zones have more consensual/expected pvp with people crutching on the overpowered venator pistol, but at extractions or just any random place other place on the map the most likely person to shoot you is freekit with a Grey gun that outperforms most other guns. There's simply not a reason to use good gear 99% of the time time since the balance is so fucked.

What are you guys think realistically happens with this game in like 2 months? I think in two months the solo players are not going to be that friendly because most people are going to be done questing and shit. I think the conversations now about people being mad about rats and KOSers is just going to end up amplifying in solos where most people are friendly now. So while people say that the duos and trios mode is currently just team deathmatch, I think solos mode is also going to just turn into deathmatch too and that's going to be the game until either it shuts down or people stop playing. The casual Allure that this game has because of the friendliness is just going to evaporate. If they don't do wipes, I just don't see how this game doesn't turn into queuing into death matches regardless of solo duo or trios in just a little while. But I don't know I've never played one of these extraction shooters before so maybe there is a piece of information I'm missing.

Anvil should take three hits to kill a green shield user UNLESS *BOTH* shots are headshots. The current head + body = 0hp green shield user is ass, but only because first-shot advantage is too strong. Getting domed once by an Anvil from ambush should not leave you without any room for a single mistake. There's effectively no room for counter-play because you need to devote 99% of your resources into not getting hit.

I don't think grey guns do too much damage desu. Shields are too useless though. Most of the frustration with free kits is dying because they found you first and removed your entire shield plus 20% of your health before you could even turn around. If you are both prepared you are unlikely to die unless you are in a situation you don't have any cover and they do.Buff blue shields and above and leave grey guns as is and free kits will have to think twice before ratting but still will be able to deal with the eventual wasp or hornet.

Again, the bigger issue is that Embark wants it both ways and it's not working. If you want to be competitive in any of the trials or secure your loot for your incredibly specific loadout you need for something, you practically need to treat everyone as a target and get out ASAP. Forcing a solo player who just wants to grind blueprints and levels (90% of players) into a night map where two of the 20 people who spawned will be guaranteed deathmatch players is not good design at all.I would love to focus on PvP in squads with guns that I like. But to do that I need to do solo raids to get scrap to upgrade my weapons to be competitive, and if some no life with a Stitcher IV rolls up on me at an inopportune moment I'm just boned and have to restart all over again. It's comparable to being a speedrunning tranny but there's a gremlin trying to yank out your controller's cord at random moments. Only actually mentally ill freaks would think that being the gremlin is a fun game loop.

I think the problem is the quests aren't radiant and are tied to progression once you get back to seperanza so the game having players doing fetch quests in an active warzonet feels like two different games overlapping. If you want to just get your quests done, you want every interaction with another raider to be friendly and it's annoying as shit to be KOS before you do the objective when you just hiked across the map to test a water sample. Even if you dont have anything, it's just annoying.The quests should be more like how Battlefield Redsec handles their missions. Optional objectives beginning when you spawn in that are difficult BECAUSE of the other players but provide direct and immediate benefits for the match you are already in. The inventive is to gain a quick upper hand in the PVP or PVE.

The only thign that makes gear loss really hurt is if you don't have the Blueprint, but you shouldn't take out gear like this on a raid unless you want to use it for something specific or don't mind losing it.
