Slamming midrace works. She's losing races due to long S or capped speed but other that this is working out really well. Just need to make one with the speed reqs. I don't think I'm going to get this skill set again while capping speed. Innate came from Golshi speed agemasen, spurt came from borrowed SSR Sweep agemasen. Succeeding with both of those + long while needing to use end closer sparks seems unlikely. Innate is firing every race so if you got full armor consider using her

Scorpio was the guts cup with 400+ meters on the last straight, this time it's 300+ so the window for an early duel is much tighter and you're getting less ground even if you start it at the earliest possible moment.Second, the dueling speed differential is really important. You can only start a duel if the relative speeds of your uma are close enough. What this means is that styles can only duel their neighbors. Runaway can duel fronts, fronts can duel runaways and pace, pace can duel fronts and lates, lates duel pace and end.Gutsmaxxing is a bad idea this CM due to the shorter length of the final spurt. If you're going to gutsmaxx do it on a late or end because there's going to be a ton of those. I'm only going to recommend gutsmaxxing if you have any of these cards MLB'd in addition to KSB: Biko, guts Ryan or Fujin. Biko must be in your deck to reliably cap speed with KSB as your only 2 speed cards. If you have guts Ryan you get access to unyielding which is going to give you perfect timing for a velocity/accel in addition to your spurt accel. Fujin will let you more reliably cap speed if you can run her alongside Biko & KSB. Even from a shitload of races running 2 ends I haven't seen the end closer clump reliably trigger early duels. Maybe if I ran 3 ends it'd be possible.

So how does the max speed penalty for having a delayed spurt work exactly? Or more importantly, how big a deal is it if Christmas Oguri doesn't start her spurt until 777 and her ult activates? From what I can tell, even if Christmas Oguri activates her ult, she still risks taking a massive speed penalty for not starting her spurt on time.Ive been playing around in the umalator with skill and wit checks turned off, using low stam (700stam 450 guts in pic related) Christmas Oguris that are exactly the same, except one has Gourmand and Maestro, but no 777, and the other has hydrate, corner recovery, and 777. This means that one Oguri will never activate their ult, but always spurt on time, while the other will always activate their ult, but rarely spurt on time, and neither of them will ever gas out at the end.Honestly I dont understand these spurt stats at all. I know the Arima has a massive downhill, but I dont get why the spurt delay isnt happening at around 56m consistently. It just seems random to me. Especially the all important max velocity penalty which is often massive even when the spurt delay is small.

After a LOT of FineMo borrows last cm, I don't get why it's part of the must pulls in the game. Low initial friendship for a wit card is a huge minus for me, plus her gold skill can agemasen early on in the career if it hits early. Skill hints are great but no hint frequency bonus.
