My overall verdict is: story is possibly the worst since canto 2, but the amount of fanservice, clapbait, and hype moments made it enjoyable regardless, and this season could potentially have the best ID lineup of any yet. So many unique characters to pick from.

Finally finished the canto. I'd say it's okay. I have the same feeling I had with Canto 8. Overall is pretty good, had a lot of things and moments I really liked, but the final fight was meh. Canto 8 makes sense because the climax was meant to be part 2, but 9 is just kinda... Ehh. It was alright though. I'd give it a 7/10. I think my main grip is the fact that it's not really that clear how much Ryoshu actually remembers of Araya. Dante mentions at the end that she most likely doesn't remember anything, perchance just remembering that there's 'something' she's missing, but that's it. But then again her new EGO line directly mentions her.

While the hype moments were hype, and I actually could appreciate how they implemented the ally characters this time around, with us not being the stars exactly, this, this right here, has got to be either the worst or second worst Canto.
