Which doesn't seem significant at first, until you learn later that Shiomi thought iaido was stupid and a waste of time, while Araya's style incorporates a lot of iaido techniques. It really gives the idea that Araya and Ren had a proper relation unlike the other Nursefathers and their apprentice. It's also interesting to think that if Ryoshu wasn't so hyper fixated on vengeance at the start of the Canto, she might have noticed that the Pinky apprentice was using iaido which wouldn't make sense to her considering her memory of Shiomi. I don't know if it'd have been enough for her to figure it out, but it would probably have been enough for her to realize that something was off.Also worth noting based off the final EGO animation against Rien, Ryoshu's Forest for the Flames attack is also an iaido technique.

If Yi Sang and Sinclair accidentally clock Dante's head again while Ryoshu is nearby, Araya will see that and she can even tell Dante who the culprit is.And when the sinners are having their climatic fight against Hermann's group or Demian's pals, Araya could randomly just tell Dante that he needs to lock in during the middle of battle.

He makes an effort to comfort Heathcliff when he picks up on Catherine's passing and suggests that they prioritize Heathcliff's safety rather than the acquisition of the Golden Boughs. There are lots of other things stated to be fact about his character but they're more in the realm of his acute observation skills etc.Meursault's character is one that is subtle, and sometimes not.
