Blaze absolutely should be "Core cast", but only with the understanding that she is #5 on the list. #4 is Knuckles. #3 is Amy. #2 is Tails. #1 is Sonic. The hierarchy goes Sonic > Tails > Amy > Knuckles > Blaze. The further down you go, the heavier the character is substantially, which inversely means their appearances are more impactful yet limited.
