tried to include a sixth row for Jet, from the perspective that Jet is the inverse of Tails towards Sonic. Which, if taken as "Anti-Tails", leads to conclusions like Tikal being the "Jet" for Blaze. Which makes sense as far as "Girl Knuckles", as the common root there, I suppose. But after connecting all these dots, I wanna say that these are not how I'd give each character their own "core cast". Tails, Amy, Knuckles and Blaze are all different characters so what their own "teams" should look like would not follow the same rule as Sonic in the same kind of way. Sonic is a cool mascot figure, so a kid sidekick that admires him, a girlfriend that mirrors him, a rival who opposes him, and the direct polar-opposite inverse to him, make perfect sense as the primary supporting cast around him. Just from who Sonic is, these are what make the most sense. And for each of their own archetypes, Sonic also makes sense towards them. But making it a case of "Kid version, Girl version, Anti version, Nega version" for all of them as well doesn't get the same results because they are all different. Nega Sonic & Nega Tails can not be like Sonic & Tails, BECAUSE Blaze is not Sonic. Blaze is so opposite to Sonic, that giving her a "Tails" means someone that's "Sonic-like" to match her "Tails-like" traits, which means a girl so confident and optimistic and outgoing that she asserts herself as the dominating force towards Blaze. Because that's what Blaze needs, someone to bring her out of her shell. But meanwhile, if you give Tails his own "Cast", you won't get a Girl Tails like Cream in his direct circle. Because they're too similar in overlapping positions. Cream isn't "Tails' Amy" in this sense, she'd more-so function as a direct alternative to him. Like, if Tails is Robin, Cream is the girl Robins. Instead, what fits with Tails is Cosmo, who I'd classify under the same slot as Tikal, a "Girl Knuckles" of sorts.

Amy is Minnie Mouse. She is the mascot-ified abstraction of the very "idea" of a girl. But more specifically, the abstraction of the idea of a "Girlfriend", she is the ideal GIRLFRIEND. Tails is Robin. He exists to be an "avatar" of sorts for younger siblings, he is "you" as a fan of Sonic. Where Sonic is the cool symbol you admire, Tails is a relatable underdog figure, a direct mirror of the player. If Amy is the "Nega-Tails", that would mean that the "idealized mascot abstraction" of a girlfriend is just an avatar for real girls to project themselves onto. But this also means that "Nega-Sonic" (Blaze / Sally) is who girls would actually "look up to" and want to emulate. This would mean that the girl perspective would see Amy as a mirror of themselves, but admire Blaze as an unattainable figure they'd want to be like ... ? Even though Amy is an idealized fantasy, she is NOT a real person, she is the Girlfriend that an average guy would wish he has, she is an Anime Waifu. Why would a girl see an "idealized fantasy" as an avatar for themselves to project onto? Why would they see an "idealized fantasy girlfriend" as relatable? That would mean that girls either see themselves as this idealized fantasy already, or have been raised to think of themselves that way due to a dominating male cultural influence establishing that "idealized girlfriend fantasy" as the standard for women. Which then creates the feminist counter-narrative that -rejects- the Minnie Mouse "anime waifu" ideal in favor of something else. Which, I guess, would be Blaze? If Amy is Nega-Tails, and Tails is Kid-Sonic, then Tails is the Amy to Blaze's Sonic. Meaning, the same traits that makes Tails a "relatable avatar" from a male perspective, would make Blaze the actual elevated ideal a female perspective would want to reach. Probably -because- of the relatable factor in direct contrast to the "abstract idealized fantasy" that Amy Rose embodies. I have no idea what I'm talking about, man...
