If you started with world or after world and don't know, the prevailing narrative surrounding the games before world was that you should play these games in this specific order and there was no need to deviate from this doctrine: FU -> 3U -> 4U -> GU (if you felt like it) This is an absolutely dogshit way to experience the series for several reasons but if you started monhun before world you very likely saw this list a lot. I like how similar in design Yukumo and Kamura are. The hallway that leads from your room to the hub in Yukumo reminds me of the terrace in the Kamura hub and obviously both hubs have that red colored east asian aesthetic. The architecture of the buildings is similar as well. They're supposed to be close to one another geographically in lore anyway so that makes sense. Sure we already had monsters with powered up forms like rajang and we did already have hyper mobile monsters like the raths or narga but we didn't have anything that was fast, could power up, and had so many moves that took up a lot of space all in one package.
